These coliseum fights suck and are too hard
Is what I've been seeing a large (or small and vocal) wave of summoners ranting about on all platforms.
But none of those *constructive* pieces of feedback are thinking about or engaging with these fights beyond the mindless dopamine hit of reward milestones.
That isnt what coliseum is or what the pain fights were either. Some were bs but alot were actually trying to teach us something and I dont think anyone is really looking at any of these fights from that lens anymore and cannot comprehend why they are made the way they are.
Crossbones: "the special lock is dumb because i keep getting killed by the sp2" yeah they want us to learn how to dex his sp2. Everything about this fight is designed to teach us that. He special locks to prevent the infinite baiting of sp1s so we have to interact with the sp2. They dont want us to get rid of all his furies so we have to keep buffs on him. Then you better learn to dex the sp2 or youre dead.
Arcade: : "I HATE fighting arcade! Why would they make him the boss?!" Yeah buddy that's the reason why he's the boss. So you can learn how to fight him. The fight is designed for you to learn how to fight arcade AND manage his tokens
Void: they want us to be aggressive and learn to better manage his debuffs and timer
Havok: this one is a slight outlier. They want us to manage his debuffs and detonation more actively instead of just keeping a permanent armor up the whole fight and not thinking about it but there's hardly a situation in game I can think of where practice with this specific set of nodes would help.
Nefaria: I cant remmeber the nodes but they wanted us to basically manage his overcharge and learn to effectively dex his specials.
Adam: the ai was too garbage for this to work but they really wanted us go get better at fighting Adam and learning his specials and mechanics.
Keep in mind we technically have infinite tries at these in their time period. We have tailored made fights to train against these champs. Instead of b*itching why dont you try and actually learn.
If youre already good at what the fight is designed for then congratulations you can do it with way less time or energy spent but if you arent youre going to do it over and over again until you get good at it.
This was slightly aggressive but tje comments on seatins video specifically really ticked me off
