Feedback on Alliance Coliseum so far

I think almost everyone agrees that leveling the podiums sucks lol...which Kabam is not surprised by.. hence selling a way to bypass the process that they know is super grindy and annoying

I understand the need for monetization, of course.. but we've replaced AQ with a mode that is actually more annoying:)

My thought is this:

In order to monetize the mode, crank up the Rank Rewards, but make it so you do need to spend money, get super sweaty or some combination of both for those who do want to push the mode

But! For the players who just want to grind the milestones and not really fussed about rankings.. it needs to be wayyyy less of a slog imo
Reduce greatly or even remove the podium leveling grind and replace it with a different concept.. yes, good performance in the fights should be rewarded with a faster advancement through the milestones, but as it stands it's a slog regardless of how well you perform (and the 8 bar cap is.. why? Just to show us that performance alone will not allow us to succeed in this mode?)

Tldr.. monetize the mode a different way that doesn't punish folks who just want to play through it on a normal level (not push rank competitively)

I thoroughly enjoy solo coliseum (except the most recent fight) and completely loathe alliance coliseum. It comes across as buy your way to the top and really does nothing to hide that intention. There has to be a better way to farm level-up materials for that mode or it will die a very quick death.

None of the fights barring the Adam Warlock have been worth it. Even the Adam Warlock one suffered due to the excessive power gain. Take the rewards and put it into solo coliseum. Solo coliseum is not great but considerably better than the **** that is alliance coliseum.

Maybe they can add an alliance element to the solo coliseum to make it less grindy by having alliance mates help each other out. Maybe bonus points for the entire alliance every time you complete 10 health bars for all active alliance mates or somethinfg similar.

2 coliseums released on the same day was ridiculous to me, especially one with a 3 day timer. I work and coach football so that 3 day window was tough. Not even gonna go into the bosses…worst bosses yet. Still got it done but did not enjoy it.

this solo coliseum sucks so much. For the first time I am realy thinking to end game. Its not worth it. I took me a lot time a and money I can spend for somethink more meaningfull. This so obvi they want steal our money

None of the fights are difficult enough to warrant any kind of spend. The modes are just time intensive

As casual player, I would rather spend time on progressive content where time valued rather hard content needing stress, skill, revive, potion farming.

The rewards are absolutely amazing, securing 1 T7B at 3.6 mil. Using r2 medusa in easy mode took 30 min to get lvl 3 a podium, just 3 tag champ. No pay needed. I didn't need to get higher.

Coliseum comes down to luck.

Will the Ai go for your intercept? Will it throw that special or dance around? How many runs do you need to do to get that perfect AI cooperation?

Imagine thinking that people will spend on this game mode.

I’ve seen two alliance completely fold over because of alliance coliseum. No one has that kind of time in 3 days to level podiums especially with a ridiculous fight like arcade. While some people max out pts and podiums the best they can others barely make an effort and resentment ensues
