Is Dark Pheonix ever coming back?

Has there been any news on whether or not us non-whale plebs are ever going to get our hands on a dark pheonix? Will she come through the crystals like other rare 7*s or are we just forever going to miss out for our insolence (not spending 1k on a mobile game)

I honestly wouldn’t mind an event/chase objective, just geniunely curious if they will seriously release a meta champ where the only way to ever get them is by spending.

She may come on Carina challenge champ if we get future endgame content like Necropolis 2.0 etc, that's my only guess.

if they did announce that she was I would be saving my units right now just to get her lol. I wish I had saved my units before that event way back

Probably one of the next big sales, spring cleaning, july 4, cyber weekend, maybe even Banquet, but she’ll likely remain a trophy champ

If she does come.back.my guess is it will be for more Units maybe not 36k but 15k or 12k units for those that didn't get her.

Dark Phoenix is kinda meh as a defender. Whenever I see one as the AW boss I go yay free Boss zero deaths. She's a joke now, tons of champs counter her nova flame. Heck even Ice Man can take her without much hassle.

Well unfortunately in BGs, people don't have the luxury of max boosting an optimal counter to Dark Phoenix

She's not going to headline another sales event, since many of the big spenders/grinders already got her, so you can't have a sale built around a champ already owned by most of your top customers.

Torch is a similar case, and he was just made available via the valiant romance crystal at very low odds.

Which makes sense. Torch can't re-headline again, so they just sprinkled him in as a low-chance teaser. It entices some people to go for those romance crystals, but the event isn't built around him, so there is still other stuff for the spenders to get.

Iceman can take her with a little fancy footwork @CheeseMaster482 I've done it in bgs and pulled above 40k. You don't need the specific counter just one that works and works well.
