A Cool Concept for the future?

I think it would be really cool if in story quests or general questing, we could pick the map we fight in. For example, I love fighting in the Sanctum Sanctorum. Idk why, but I sort of feel more confident in a fight whenever the game spawns me in that map.

It could be really simple. Right before you press the fight button, you choose your map and confirm. It wouldn’t take long at all, and you could even have to option to choose your “favourite map” so the game would keep spawning you in that map until you change it whenever you want.

Fighting in your favorite maps would make grinding quests way more enjoyable and add a little extra excitement to every fight, at least for me.

however: what I don’t understand is that they are so restrictive with creating new maps. It would keep the game fresh.

Allocating resources which are limited I know I know

Looking at the last banquet and the recurring pay events they should have enough resources.

yeah new maps would be awesome.

But I’m also saying that this would be only for story quests or just general questing instead of battlegrounds, arena, etc. it would Just be a little button you press in the corner to choose your map before the fight happens.

You don’t even need to click it at all, but they place you in a random map. And if people sometimes have issues with too many menus which I respect, you could go into the settings tab and disable the “map selector” button menu before a fight happens so you wouldn’t see it at all, making it a win-win.

New battlefields take up a lot of server space and resources for what is essentially a passive update that will be forgotten within a week. It would be great but people already complain about updates being a lot of memory and the pros just dont outweigh the cons
