Whenever somebody references Alison edits in defense of a mid champ, it’s the most damning evidence that the champ actually sucks.

It’s right up there with someone saying “but their synergies are incredible…”

I'm no expert when it comes to my champs. Like, I don't study them or nothing and skim through all of that text. Ngl. So when I pulled Karnak, I said okay, easy access to True Strike. I actually wanted Star Lord simply because the highest one I have is a 4*.

It's not that he's bad, it's that why should I bother using him unless I love the champ. Content and champion development have gone past the need to have Karnak on your team right now except for those 1 or 2 times every couple of years where he fits perfectly for a challenege or meta. And that's just Karnak, the same could even be said for doctor strange, really powerful champion, but if you have the current top 3 mystics ranked up already, why bother unless you just love him and his playstyle or chasing prestige.

Theres a difference between good but not great and useless like most people are saying. Sure he could use some more utility to be a great champion, but I also think that calling him dogs hit is too far in the opposite

Well, he is sort of useless when you compare him to the actual heavy hitters in the skill class. Like I said it’s not that he himself is bad, it’s just that the game has evolved a lot and he is close to being useless because of every other top skill already in game as well as every current meta defender.
