Overrated or Underrated: Cassandra Nova

Welcome, welcome back to this series where we analyse a specific champion and see if they are overrated, underrated or perfectly rated. Haven’t made a thread like this in a while, but with the Titan Crystal changing in a few weeks later, I feel like this is appropriate now to make

Now I heard some if not all people say that Cassandra Nova is a worse version of Jean Grey. That’s partially true, cause overall Jean’s the superior champ, but partially false since they are both different champs. Both have neuroshocks, daunted and reverse controls, both are good against skill champs and even outside, but that’s where similarities end. Cassandra has a passive charge heavy stun similar to Xavier, she has non contact attacks, regen on her sp1, but I think her biggest advantage over Jean is her regeneration counter. She has both Marked to stop cheat death mechanics, as well as reduces regen rate on Skill Champs to be based on their max health, effectively making her the best Nick Fury counter.

So, do we think Cassandra Nova is overrated, underrated or perfectly rated? Why?

I feel like jean outshined her and she is underrated. Jeans protection is crazy which is a big part of why I think she outshines so much. Also due to her defensive value , but I love my Cassandra. She is a great champ. Her damage is incredible and linking her with the Wolverine relic for the regen is really nice to have. Offensively I’m choosing her over lots of other mutants

Defensively, Cassandra is not the worst defender, she has regen on the SP1 that cannot really be reversed, her sp2 isn’t the easiest to dex, and she can be annoying on stun immune nodes if you can’t intercept her

she is underrated, I use her all the time, and I have a Jean grey at r4 as well, I still feel more excited to draft Cassandra , very satisfying play style and animations

And I forgot to comment on your BZ Overrated or Underrated

I will do both

Baron Zemo was one of my 6 stars I pulled the next month he came to Mcoc.

He was a superb champion at that time, with difficult fighting to dex and the trap, and now as 7 stars he is much better.

Maybe underrated, because you dont see him always on BG, only here and there.

For Bald Cassie 😍, I was always afraid to face her on BG, and the character came strong to Mcoc on everyone's mind after Deadpool and Wolverine movie where she did so many things, but the HT scene was the best haha

And now, I barelly see Cassandra😍 on BG, maybe because people dont pull her easily, I have her 😎

So, she is perfectly rated, as people uses her on BG

Underrated for sure. I'm only now starting to like Jean grey but I've liked Cass since day 1.

She's a fun champ and her damage, though not Jean level, ain't bad at all.
