Tired of getting my butt kicked in BGs by legends

I am a FTP player, i have 9 r4s, like 10 R3s and a few R2s..

I managed to reach diamond 2, but i keep matching only with 40 R4s legends account, i even matched with a Creator! lollllll

Anyone else with the same struggle?

just matched with a guy with 7* R5 first appearance sig 200 Dr Strange, nice… very…very… nice! oh yeah, and the rest of the deck was also R4 sig 200

You’re playing less than 48 hours after the season began. Every player starts in VT, so it’s crowded with very good players with very big rosters until they move to GC. Give it a week and then try again.

After the Star-Lord objective I stopped bothering with BGs. Facing Chud spenders for trash rewards. I'd rather spin a roulette wheel

For the most part, at the start of the season, EVERYONE is fighting to get out of those ranks. A more accurate depiction on who belongs in those ranks is at the end of the season.

that is totally fair and i understand, however my opinion is that Gladiator, is someone who fights to the death.

(i never forfeit a match, ever, i fight till the last drop of blood) and should be more about skill not about who spends the most money on new offers. Very often, i play as good as i can, and lose because he has just way too many R4 attackers and defenrs, and my R3 defenders/attackers just cant keep up, sometimes even 1 second makes the difference, and this stops being skill based. if its so roster based, maybe there should be at least a small level of matching roster power, like, fine, i have 9 R4s, match me with someone with 20 R4s, but not 40 R4s.. idk, im just pissed and feel helpess despite playing well, still get screwed because i refuse to sell my house and invest the money into this game

Facing the same defensive R4 7* monsters is getting stale.

Not every ftp have only 9 r4. You can have more than 30 r4 as ftp right now and get to GC in the firts week. Also the skill is very important

What you need to understand is that with a small account you can´t have all the rewards that gives the game if you aren´t MSD.

For example those 10k radiance aren´t for you.

I have around 20 r4 and the last thing I paid for was a random platinum track for someone I cant remember and probably didnt rank up anyway.

Never spent a cent to get a r4.

Ftp is a cop out when raging in the first couple of days of bgs because your roster isn't enough to compete.

You're delusional thinking u can get gc in first week. F2p small rosters have to grind it out and accept losses to big rosters. Its the way it goes. Grind until week 2 or 3 depending how much of it u play

Yea it's hard for people with smaller rosters but not impossible I'm a f2p and I always hit GC within the first week to get the 10k radiance

Keep battling my friend. This happens to the best of us lol. Ive had had tremendous high and lows in BGs. I've made the Gladiator Circuit a few times but only after getting my butt kicked thousands.

true. some players are done with story content, EQ, SQ, and other end game content, then BG is all thats left I guess.
