Kabam & their nonsense

Kabam either made a silent update or built into the Colosseum that at certain point - it would become incredibly difficult. Specially vs destroyer. I just went through a dozen fights & it was COMPLETELY different rng/ai/etc. …scammers

I mean yeah it does get progressively difficult the more bars you get down in a fight

The fight gets more difficult after each Health Bar you clear… it's a node on the fight.

lol, nah. I’m no KT or BZ but I’ve got enough skill to get through bars. Defend all you want, maybe you’re on payroll or I’m talking to a bot but I’ve played long enough (10+ yrs) to know when something has changed. It’s cool, I’ll adjust & get through what I can b/c I’m F2P but it’s frustrating they do things in the dark.

Of all the legitimate things to complain about in this game… this isn't one of them.

Nothing's "changed" with Colosseum and health bars. Maybe you're just struggling against Destoryer but nothing about how his health bar ticks seems any different from the first three bosses.

OP are you letting him get the second power gain? The only bug I noticed was him launching sp3 under 3 bars of power when that second buff was active.

More of a frustrated observation. They change rng/ai randomly all the time. It just sucks it (or something) has been done in the middle of this event which has been challenging but somewhat enjoyable despite me not having a high star deep roster. I’ve haven't had the under 3 bar launch but I did have Havok parried (& “parry” post) & not get the armor, among other things throughout my MCOC journey lol.

i did all the runs for pts on destroyer, didn't notice anything unusual, sometimes he was a bit passive, but thats about it, can you perhaps record a video pointing out the issue?

If your issues with the ai are that destroyer spams a lot of sp1s or hides when you want him to attack, it's not noticeably different behavior than any of the other defenders in my experience. If you're using deathless she-hulk, you don't care about falter timers or sp1 spams as long as you get your heavies and sp2s in. Between quicksilver, Photon, onslaught, cap Britain, even prowler you can mitigate the falter or power gain and work around sp2s. I used silk to reliably keep him to sp2s just with patience and timing. If you slip up it's instant sp3, so in that case it's more unforgiving than the others, but personally destroyer was less time consuming than xbones, just by fact of a much easier dex of sp2s.

That's been my experience , anyways.

I’m using a 5 star void. I’ve done all bosses except Crossbones. I was doing 2-3 bars at a time vs Destroyer. I wasn’t doing much intercepts to keep it safe. All was well, but when I hit 10 (170) pts - the rng/ai flipped. Petrify is always placing last (7 straight runs), defender playing completely different etc.

All good. I’ll try a few more times & move to something else b/c there’s plenty to do in MCOC. It’s the safest (& cheapest) way to mitigate Kabam & still enjoy Marvel.

do you have quicksilver by any chance? people do 10-15 bars run with him, i myself got 5-10 bars per run with a 7* R2 quicksilver, im FTP as well

I was doing pretty well with Miles Morales - you have a guaranteed miss on unblockable specials and time to ramp up his charges for solid damage.

Surprisingly, Destroyer for me is not that hard.

I use Void. I play conservatively at first.

Parry, stun, retreat or parry, stun, 1-2 hit combo. I try to keep him at 1 power bar, easy to avoid. Just keep throwing ur own sp1. Try to time things with the falter. Sometimes when I see falter is about to kick in, I use a sp1 on him cause it will push him back enough so that he falters.

Once u get the timing and rhythm right, u can get 5 or more health bars easily.

With Void, once u get going, u literally control his power. In some cases, he even loses power.

OP, i don't think using 5* champions is wise for that boss, it will be very painful and long..the lowest I'd settle for is a 7* R2 / 6* R5.

unless you're an absolute beast who can rival MSD…

DoctorB - yes, that’s pretty much how I play destroyer with void (I’m a huge void fan, would love a 7). Slow going with 5 star like Luxianxvs mentioned but it’s what I have (no quick, miles etc in higher stars). Everything was exactly how you said but as soon I hit 10 pts (not bars) & 170 pts total - the rng/ai really changed.

I’m trying to throw Wong in Crossbones face but haven’t quite gotten his ramp/rotation down.

I’ll plod along to 210 pts for those nexus crystals.
