Ghost town at Kabam

I've seen nothing but negative feedback on this months SQ; the game mode is less enjoyable than before, the milestones are ridiculously high, why do we have basic red envelopes and not the Greater ones with better rewards?!

But Kabam is silent, do you guys not care? Can you not be bothered to respond? Some sort of acknowledgement would be great. Making some changes would be better otherwise this month is literally just a waste of time, first time in 10-years I haven't even tried to complete SQ, for someone who plays daily, that's concerning

The majority of the milestones are stretch milestones past the initial few, for players who enjoy the mode and want to grind more.

Discussions are being had here - keep in mind, while feedback is being read and taken, this isn't something that is going to be met with an official announcement. Many game modes are iterative; you'll likely see what you're looking for in a future version of the mode.

I appreciate the response, I think they content itself is one thing because I guess it is trial and error.

But why did you guys choose to give out the small envelopes over the great ones? I've opened damn near 100 of these things and have zero units to show for it.... I don't need to add more gold I'm sat at 300m, iso expires daily then only thing anyone wants is units and these are terrible for giving them

@Kabam (Osaurus) Rex one piece of constructive criticism I would offer re: the Clash event…

…for me it’s the lack of agency that’s the problem.

Sure, I can pick certain factions to exclude based on what I think the odds are, but it’s such an opaque game of chance that even that seems like a shot in the dark.

That’s not MCoC. You can get a bad BGs draw, or crappy pulls or weird AI that confounds you—but there’s at least some room for skill and knowledge to mitigate that.

Not so in Clash. I honestly feel like I’m on one of those rows of geriatrics spinning the wheels over and over on one-armed bandits at a reservation casino.

First week felt not as bad. Why? Because I actually got some lucky runs. This week? Even starting with 4 of a kind Fire Faction winds up missing the final Fire piece I need as often as not. It’s totally out of my hands and dependent on whatever the game wants to give me.

How could you fix it? Why not make the fights matter? Slap on a timer that grants a wild card of you beat it. Add better callouts that bring bonus payouts. Let the player choose to face a higher rarity opponent for better results.

Or let players wager their in game currency—really just anything that grants more agency and control over the outcome or reward.

Because as much as the game feels like a casino sometimes, this event feels like something at one of those really cheap, backwater end-of-the-line gambling houses.

I am more worried about how the feedback is evaluated. Somehow this game mode returned because "a lot of people liked it" and you guys managed to make it worse by changing it.

Hope these amazing and fun modes return in December for Avengers Doomsday promo and the FF4 like game, now with the Avengers vs Dr. Doom (Whoooaaa... Now I had a vision of the future… Maybe, Dr Doom 7 stars will be released with the promo for the Movie! Dr. Doom, Thor OG and Captain America 7 stars too )
