I think they will punish the people who used the code unlawfully.

I don't think this was a case of excusable ignorance. The people who used the code knew what they were doing as far as exploiting an accident. That is not ok.

People are way too optimistic. The same thing happened with the titan pool bug but on a far more widespread compensation that deserved a "fair" solution to the people who didnt take part, but it was basically ignored.

some didn’t share maliciously… I saw it on fb checked that it worked and then sent to my crew… but by the time they tried it was removed… I thought was a legit thing. I’d rather that they take the champs than any punishment… that’s fair in my opinion or you can have my champs for all I care… was Phoenix and Mister fantastic if you want them let me know.. not my fault and was not unlawful man! Just my 2 cents 🤷🏻‍♂️

They kinda stopped being so hard on players. And I don't think this one can be categorized as exploiting.

Most people didn't know. Majority of people got all tagged in chat apps. Nobody had a clue where the code came from. All anybody cared was there's a free key code.

Only after the code got pathched is when people termed it as an exploit.

Cheesemaster posted that code saying it's a "free key code" and how would anyone who comes across his post know that it's an accidental code?

How would Cheesemaster himself have known if he wasn't told that the code shouldn't exist, etc?

Most people who may have used the code did so out of pure ignorance and that's it.

My experience as a checked out player who no longer reads forums or watched youtube vids daily:

For my line chats it was being shared as a ccp code, which is a thing they've done in the past as a way for ccp creators to share one promo code to advertise an event.

As someone that's seen youtube thumbnails all over saying ccp codes, but having not watched them, i just assumed this was the one code going around and our alliance was late to the party.

That said, Kabam can take back the capt britain I got this morning from it. Non of the champs in this event were ground breaking that I would be heart broken to lose or excited to gain.

Someone should create private chat group similar to Fbook messenger or whats app group chat that only players can access and post stuff like that. Only reason it patched is cos they saw this. Has to be some explanation or comp they can't allow some players and everyone else miss out due to there mistake

ItIts most likely the persons name who won the ccp key but then chose to show it to all and many got it also then kabam took it away. As you needed leave your dicord name or id or game name to youtube comment to get change to get a key from ccp members

CcP members gave one key to one person and i guess that winner chose to show hes code to others also. Dont know why it worked for all who were fast enaf it should be only to the one person per ccp members code

got bored on a rainy day and it’s the same ole poop show it seems… whatever the conclusion ends up being if they get it right it’ll be on accident. I might stay tuned for the conspiracy theories about how much free stuff the ccp is given now to promote spending

I saw this code 1 hour too late last night on Facebook. It didn't say it was an exploit or this is wrong. It said code for summoners market to get another key...enjoy. But it did happen and a lot from the comments on the Facebook post were able to get it so now Kabam will you re-enable the code for those that didn't get to use it in time or are people going to be punished for acting on something they didn't know was wrong? @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex

Or they could just reactivate the code, so that everyone that already got it cant get it again, but everyone else can.

What they should do is put back the key box even if it's only 1 or 2 days because we know it's the weekend and this will not be addressed until tomorrow if at all and look at all the ones that used the code and send out the same thing we got for free from summoners market the progression item to those that didn't use the code so not just anyone can pull a 7 star

I think if you're engaged enough to find out about this exploit and claim the code during the short amount of time it was live, you're engaged enough to know that this was a glitch and that CCP codes were intended to be private and redeemable one time only.

The people in charge don't work on the weekends. You'll have to wait at least until they come to work on Monday to get a response or resolution. The emergency was fixed (the code being usable); the fallout can wait to be resolved.

Kabam (Osaurus) Rex

This was a promo code that CCP members get to giveaway to their followers, 5x codes each.

One of the codes wasn't used in time, so we extended the expiry of the code, which led to it not being limited to a one-user use. When this was discovered somehow, it started spreading.

There is no conspiracy. The CCP doesn’t get anything to promote anything. Nobody is getting banned from the CCP because of it.

A free key was already available in the webstore for everyone, and given the sheer volume of priorities the team is juggling right now, it's unlikely there will be any clawback for those who redeemed the code.
Re-enabling or extending it doesn't appear feasible at this time.
