I do wish they would have just left the code active since so many people used it already but I get where they are coming from. A new code would enable the players who already used the other code to get a third three key, and their promo code system probably doesn’t have the ability to just re activate that old the code. Unfortunate but not a big deal.

I pulled a 7* star lord from that code, I understand what you are bottered about, just because now I have the best champion I the game and I can handle even the hardest content coming in this year with my Stat lord.

Honestly this keys are even worse than those from banquet, I pulled kranak and SL, I already have a dupped cap britan, so this keys were just to get 2 more trash champs in my deck.

Not surprised at all. We haven’t had a thoughtful and correct response to an exploit in… what, a year? Maybe two?

We just get excuses about how busy they are and the limited resources…. And then we are met with new side quests and dimensional side quests no one asked for and the community hates. When you are “that” kind of busy, the excuse is not worth including. You all just don’t care about exploits anymore, and really don’t care if a subset of players get an advantage competitively or by saving real money. That’s how every sober summoner reads these excuses.

Long story short? No. I am not surprised anymore. I was expecting this outcome the moment i woke up to see that they had this issue. Yes I was someone who missed out but I also knew people who got the code in time.

Safe to say I have given up at this point. its the same thing over and over, abuse the bug early as possible and reap the rewards while everyone else misses out.

Final comments on the matter is Kabam need to change.

Somebody said then that we should aim every opportunity to exploit as we will be rewarded in the result. And it appears to be true.

I had only $50 to spend on sales. I could buy only Black Panther's Threasure. This package did not contain any key. And now I see that people just exploited the promo code and got their key for FREE? WTF Kabam??

Wow this is honestly one of the worst ways they have responded to a bug/exploit in recent history in my opinion. At least with the zola titan bug and basic crystal bug, they were compensating people who earned or bought those crystals. Yes, many people still felt as if they were missing out, but in the end Kabam was replacing incorrect crystals people worked hard to earn or spent money to get.

In this case, the people rewarded did absolutely nothing to deserve these extra rewards. They didn't open bugged crystals without the champs they wanted. They straight up did nothing but be in the right place at the right time, and earn a free key worth 4,000 units (over $100 value, for free.)

Honestly, this whole situation wouldn't even be that big of a deal if these champions would be put in the basic soon. The way you choose to handle exclusive champion gatekeeping heavily exacerbates this issue and fuels the FOMO. We STILL haven't had OG she-hulk put in the basic pool FROM LAST YEAR'S VALENTINES BOX. So people who got clairvoyant, star lord, or cap britian from their second key are getting a 4,000 unit ($100+ value) for free, and are a YEAR+ ahead of the rest of us who have to wait for another chance at these champions. And again, this isn't a compensation these people are getting for bugged rewards. This is basically an ANTI-compensation. Completely ridiculous handling of the situation.

Very disappointing but it’s to their detriment. The last time I spent money was during banquet and I have had no desire since then to spend. The game is in such an awful spot with bugs, KABAM ERRORS, unchecked exploits, and the fact that the new content (Coliseum & Lunar Event) aren’t naturally fun. Just mindless and annoying grinds. Advocate with your money! They don’t care about this forum for real 🤣
