Super Duper Ascension Box Timelines

Hi Kabam,

Thank you for the summary post on Ascension +.

Can you please clarify some timelines so we summoners can plan our crystal opening/hoarding sessions?

1. What are the Super Duper Ascension Box launch/expiration dates?
2. Is there a deadline to receive Super Duper Ascension Shards? Do they stop dropping/accumulating after the March patch update?
3. Will there be another similar ways with other champions in a box?

With the new Titan crystal approaching, I am sure quite some of us are keeping their shards for the new Basic and Titan pull to update. But the Ascension feature drops Before the crystal update. Hence these timeline questions to strategize the chances.

The shards arent changing once ascension launches. Like the post says they're an extra drop for duping champs

Most likely they'll add to this box and not remove characters for example Fantman might be added in a future update.

Or they will rotate like a Titan Crystal?
Eventually can the Super Duper Ascension Box could be 6 other champs from each class
and the first 6 will be added to Basic Pool ?

so you cant hoard the super duper shards, but you can hoard your 7* shards for when the new pool comes in (i already got spiral so no need to keep opening)

They already told us no. If they make another box it'll have different shards. No need to hoard.

Not wanting to hoard them, just if you fall short of opening another one before the change over, means that you will lose those 10+ thousand shards, which is kinda BS. However, by providing a clearer picture, or a timeline of when the next launch is etc, could help people plan ahead and manage their openings to avoid any losses.

The box is one of my bigger pain points regarding ascension, mostly because we don't have all the information yet.

We do know that (currently) the plan is for them to not widen the pool. This super duper box is it.

We also know that the idea is to introduce new boxes with different pools as one of the ways to expand the ascended champion roster. This is supposed to help us target champions better as well as not dilute our odds from the super duper, which is supposed to be the guaranteed way* we can obtain a specific champion.

We do know that shards for this super duper will not be transferable. Meaning if you have 10k when the new box rotates in / ges introduced / whatever, you can't put those towards that one. The shards are kind of locked in for that specific super duper.

Among the things we don't yet know are: Will the super duper boxes go through a cycle or will multiple ones be active at the same time? Knowing this will help us plan better.

If they do cycle, how frequently? This is important because otherwise people are just sitting on shards they can't use for a while.

If they don't cycle but will be active at the same time - will we somehow be able to choose which super duper shards our dupes give us? What I think I would like to see here, is our dupes give us a resource which can then be converted or traded in for another resource to buy the super duper. I concede that this is a bit convoluted and actually goes against the stated intent of reducing currencies and resources in game that we have to track, but counter with: This is one of the better ways to actually entice end-game players and whales to open our Titan crystals.

Now, I'm not pressing Kabam for answers on these things immediately. I was when everything was first announced but have since decided to ease up a bit. I'd love some info, but also acknowledge that Kabam may just not yet know and don't want to share the things they're thinking of or considering for several reasons. I accept that.
