I don't like the costume design in the game. It would be better to use the original comic costume like this.

I believe they went with the current costume design because its PG13 and should be less revealing.

Remember when they added tigra and instead of bikini she also got a costume? i believe for the same reasons

we aren't the only players in this game, there are children as well. everything has to be family friendly

Yeah they needed to turn up the heat cause the goblin queen lure you in. Magik in the game for precedent of what is okay, but this look for pryor is off the mark for sure.

Feels like a double standard. The game already has shirtless characters like Abs and Gentle so Madelyne and Tigra’s original design shouldn’t be an issue.

I actually think Kabam nailed it. The armored bodice, the high boots, the structured crown, the glowing eyes, the oversized scythe… I prefer this look over some cosplay throwback. And honestly? If the only complaint is “not enough skin,” that’s kind of sad.

Everything is very simple. A man's bare-chested body is not an object of sexualization and is quite commonplace, with a woman's body everything is a bit wrong, excessively exposed body parts fall under R rating, which means that the placement of such a game must receive permission to sell in the apple store and Google market, and have an appropriate disclaimer. For the same reason, there is no blood in the game and where it could be, there are all sorts of blurs and censorship.

I haven't read a comic in probably 30 years but they certainly didn't skip out on skimpy costumes back then.

Its kind of just the messed up result of misogyny pushing women's bodies as inherently sexual while men's are viewed as neutral, but by that same logic thats kinda also the reason that her comic look is so skimpy too. There has been a big wave of female comic characters getting less revealing costumes which im generally fine with for the most part but I can see why people wouldnt be into the in game
