Question about red locks in the "Double Track" event

I noticed that there are red lock icons on the upcoming rewards in the Double Track event. I don't remember seeing these before. Why are these rewards locked

Every time that they include Booster Days in the dual-track events, which is basically every time in recent memory (aka, once a week from Solo Event based on doing daily objective, you get to advance 1 day).

What this looks like in your pic above (which has always been like that when you can get Boosters to advance days) is that your current “progression” has advanced beyond what the “current day” in on the upper Gold Track is. And so shows “locked” until such day (actual day) comes along on the real calendar. (while the purchased Plat Track allows you to claim those advanced days without waiting for the “real” day to come).

You could technically stop doing objectives for some days, and still claim the new “real” day's reward each day, until you run out of “advanced boosted” days. But if you are on Plat track, you want all those boosted days to continue because rewards extend beyond the normal 90 day timeframe (unlike Gold track).

TL:DR. It's always been like that.
