Will we be able to get Magik on day 1?

so if I have enough radiance will I be able to claim Magik when she launches or will we have to wait a few months to get her limbo tokens?

Depends on the tokens in cash offers. Radiance alone is not enough for early access.

Only whales are gonna get her, period, whether by cash or radiance, since only whales in whale alliances get that much radiance.

Unless you save all radiance for a year as an F2P, but then you're screwing yourself irregardless.

did they mention anywhere you will have to collect pieces for her or spend 250k radiance a pop? i never saw that, legit asking

i thought she will just be something around 500k radiance for the whole champ, no pieces

What Kabam Crashed said awhile back is that you won't be able to get her in 1 go.

I assume that you have to collect pieces, if we are lucky the pieces are not too crazy prices but more like come out slow.

Unless you are at high prestige and high tier war alliance your main target will be to place high in bg to get more radiance from there

Keep in mind that post was over six months ago, and things change. It is reasonable to expect that the overall intent hasn't changed, but the precise way they roll it out may have gone through several iterations by now.

The most reasonable expectation is that it will be difficult to get quickly but not impossible. It would not really make sense for even the whales to take years to get. I would expect the players earning a lot of radiance will be able to get her soon after it becomes possible at all: soon being some period from day one to maybe a couple months. Now, that doesn't mean she will be acquirable on day one that she enters the game: if it takes buying five pieces or something and Kabam decides to roll those out one per month, then the absolute earliest anyone could get her is five months after release. But I would expect big radiance earners to get her right at that point.

If only the super large radiance earners could get her on any reasonable time scale though, that would also not make sense to me because Magik is only a meaningful chase target if she is actually something players can chase. If everyone who is ever going to get her gets her on day one and no one else ever gets her, that's a kind of design failure. So I would expect the costs to get her to be achievable by moderate radiance earners on times scales of less than a year after she becomes possible to get, to make that chase something attractive for players to actually save up for. Whether that's three months or six months or nine months after the mega radiance earners Is a judgment call on the part of the designers, but I think it has to be somewhere in there.

I think it will be around 5 months

1 piece per reset of radiance store - get 4 pieces that way ( that’ll be 140 days )

and one from some content in March when she gets introduced

can always spend 💵 to get pieces early
