New Release Champ Ascension Solution - Titan Crystal

Short and sweet idea:

Pulling a max sig champ from the Titan gives you ONE (1) champion Ascension Token for that sig 200 champion you just pulled.

- We’ll be getting T2 Primordial Dust from content rewards.
- We’ll be getting class tokens from content rewards.
- The REAL issue is the locking of champion tokens behind Featured Valiants. Right now, they’re saying there will be a new pool of Empowered Crystal drops and that’s how we’ll get these, it’ll be next year, but there is no actual info/plan.

This solution solves that by:

- Providing the missing champion Ascension Tokens
- Incentivizing the opening of Titans (keeping the crystal more relevant; avoiding mass hoarding which Kabam could use against us someday)
- Most importantly, reduces the time delay of when we Ascend new champs between the Whales who open every Featured Valiant and everyone else to months rather than a full year (when we have no real plan that’s been communicated as to what will actually happen in a year)

Even that is way too much tbh. What if I want to ascend a new champ that is fine at sig 20? Waste 180 sigs just for a CHANCE to ascend them?

idk why it would be so difficult for kabam to just make a new version of a Titan Crystal for ascending new champs. Didn’t Titan crystals come out the same time 7 stars did? Why not the same for ascension which is essentially 8 stars? Call it the ascended Titan Crystal. Boom done.

I get what you’re saying, but we all know that Kabam’s gonna make us “work for it.” An immediately available Titan Ascension crystal would mean yet another shard currency and rates and a bunch of other things they would probably mess up. This instead would be a way to incentivize investing in your champs, and then Ascension is the next step. But I could see maybe sig 100 is the benchmark before champ tokens are available instead of 200.

Additionally, the harsh reality is that right now, the Titan is basically just treated as a “get what you want once and/or dupe them, then just hoard for another three months” crystal. I myself have several nexus Titans and 660k shards (AND 5 already formed). I’m only opening the next pool until I pull and dupe Doctor Strange and Blue Marvel, and then I’m hoarding until June, where I’ll do the same thing again with whoever the new 6 champs added are, and so on and so forth.

Although yes, it’ll take some time, with how much more easily Valiants (and now Elders) get sig stones, it’s not that unrealistic to get the champs you want at sig 200 to sig 200 relatively quickly. Then that makes the inherent RNG factor of the Titan still be balanced but the chance to get a champ-specific Ascension Token is there. As a reminder, you only need one for Ascension Level 1, and two for Level 2.

Again, this is a way better course of action than what we’re left with right now, which in all reality is just “you’ll get it next year, trust me bro” lol. If we wait a year the whales will be at r6a4 when we finally get r5a1 champs.

I thought about it a little bit more. I think what Kabam is saying, is that only 100 players in the entire game will ascend new champions. Why?

well, because 99.99% of players spend less than $1000/month.

Most people spend $50-$100, maybe $200-300. Personally im FTP.

But you know what? maybe thats a good thing, if only 100 people have ascended champions, i wont see them in BG much.

However, i want to ascend new champions.. this is ridiculous.
