So why couldn't we keep OG 5* Magik

With the update came Magik's rework, and with it. 5* and below Magik was also changed. Why?
Don't say it would be too complicated to have left it as is, because we have precedent for keeping pre/post rework versions of champs in the game

Fun fact I hate when they rework champs and then you find em as buffed new kit defenders in lower acts lol

amazing that they take away what so many used for years .
I know there’s higher * rarity of champs and stronger champs nowadays but that just flat out sux .

I wanted the same thing. For her Lower Star levels to remain the OG version.

Can we at least get a 1* OG version?

The code isn't an issue. They've done it before.

Buffs beginning with Blue Cyclops keep the pre buffed version in older Acts as defenders.

I think it keeps it for under 2* though lol i think they start applying at 3*

5* Magik sp2 power lock and power steal is potent but it's not super op.. her damage is dependent on limbo which has similar effect to Mysterio sp1 that any damage inflicted during limbo is return to the attacker and Magik hp is restored by a certain portion..

Now limbo is in name only and no semblance to what it was.. having DOT degen to wither opponent hp (not even potent degen almost like Dracula weak degen) and damage dealt to Magik doesn't return back to the attacker and Magik does not gain any hp back.. she loss the power lock and power steal she had in her sp2.. I'd rather keep my old 5* Magik abilities.. she was my first 5* champion and with the new rework.. it's like a new champion totally foreign to who she originally was.. just refer to new Magik (new) as 6* and 7* and keep 2* 3* 4* and 5* Magik OG as is.

What are you talking about? Magik's rework still has limbo that heals the damage she took when it ends. Have you actually played her? It's basically the same but no damage reflect.
