How is your Gladiator Circuit going?

I’m curious — how do you feel about the progress in GC during this BG season?

Personally, I find it to be the most difficult season so far. It looks like this will be the first time I won’t reach the 100-point objective. As a player, I have 35 R4 champions, slightly above average skill, and I usually finish in Quantum 1–3 — never higher, never lower.

This season’s GC feels awful. The combination of 40-champion decks and an extremely “nuke-heavy” meta makes climbing much harder. I’m losing far more often than in normal seasons. At the bottom of GC, my win-loss ratio is around 50/50, and no matter what I do, I can’t climb. Some might say it’s a skill issue, but I truly believe the current state of BGs is driving players away from this mode — which, in turn, makes it even harder for those who remain.

Even at the bottom of GC, my matches and my opponents’ matches often end with scores only 50–200 points apart, with total points exceeding 50k per round — unless RNG or AI completely crashes you. With 40-champion decks, sometimes you don’t get any mystics even after rerolls. Many matches feel unwinnable right after the draft. For example, my opponent gets Nico, Kushala, and Tigra, while I don’t — even after using three rerolls. I lose.

I also compared current tier placements with seasons 33 and 35 using https://cocpit.org/. Here’s what I found:
- Season 33: Quantum 3 had 137 points on Tuesday and 144 by the end of week 2.
- Season 35: Quantum 3 had 95 points on Tuesday and 107 by the end of week 2.

Today, the minimum rank score for Quantum 3 is only 48 points. This means a significant number of players are failing to reach the minimum score required for the 10k Radiance reward.

It’s very frustrating for me — this will be the first time I miss the 10k Radiance since these objectives were introduced. But honestly, it’s not worth the time required to reach it, given how RNG-heavy and frustrating the current meta and 40-champion decks are.

I think Kabam should have probably reduced amount of points for objectives like they did for NY if they experiment with BG structure.

You probably perceive it to be the most difficult season yet because the gc is actually now mostly stacked with accounts that have both big rosters AND skill instead of accounts that only have one of the two and manging to get by

Reached 100 points week 1.

While I also tried to hit 200. That ain't happening, peaked 180 few times, but couldn't hit 200. Will try after meta changes.

It's just same old BGs, never changes. Same winning, same losing.

Boring and repetitive. It's same old same old. Nothing outside the ordinary.

I have missed 10k radiance plenty of times in the past, mostly week 1, cuz life. They expect us to no life BGs week 1 for 10k radiance. Get a grip kabam.
