I don't even trust kabam to successfully fix Jean without messing something up from someone else's kit in the process. This all started because they fixed Valk, Hulkling, etc.

Didn't the fix to Hulkling and Valk involve making changes to daunted? If so that could be why.

Technically, they made statcasts because they didn't want to do more battlecasts, and because of that, they changed how stats work, which caused the Valk and Hulkling issues, which led to that fix, which led to the daunted nerf, which led to this probably.
So it's more of trusting them to do anything lol.
Just saying if we continued with battlecasts none of these issues probably would not have happened

I need actual context though, I use Jean often and haven't noticed a difference - this is the first I'm seeing this.

When did it start? Is there an actual comparison here?

Maybe it’s just one of those bugs that only effect certain people, I’ve used her all day and she’s still hitting like an animal

My rank 3 Jean doesn't feel any different. 26 neuroshock rotation hit for 71k each. Time average for WS did increase to 42 now though. I used to get 36-38 but I'm pretty sure that is just crit + AI RNG

Hello @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex, I believe this has more to do with inequity than Jean.

I think while fixing hulkling and the whole protection thing with thanos, inequity got buffed a lot.

So now Jean ( or any non DOT champ ) feels a lot slower in matches where she has debuffs on her ( most common matches were herself and photon )

Context is people got used to using her in BG metas that turned her into a crazy nuke and this one doesn't

I haven’t noticed my Jean having any issues. Granted this does not mean that definitively she is not functioning as intended

As noted above it’s Jean vs Jean where it’s very noticeable. 40 sec BG fights are now timing out because the damage is nowhere near what it used to be.

I think it may only be specific match ups that are causing problems. I’ve used her in EQ and she was hitting as hard as I’d expect. In other match ups as noted above she’s nowhere near where she used to be. I don’t know anywhere near enough about how various abilities interact with each other to suggest why it’s happening but I don’t think it’s a deliberate nerf. It feels much more like specific interaction issues caused by changes made elsewhere.
