It does not matter if is a protection or a weakness effect, both are towards reduce damage taken for enemies, is similar to fury, daunted, prowess or vigor, all of them increase the damage you dealt even them are different effects and works in different ways.

This is one blanket statement in the entire post. The very clearly explained that the only **change** they made was to daunted interacting with protection, not weakness. Reducing damage taken and reducing attack rating are entirely different

Así you can read kabam talks about all reduce and increase damage effects, not only one of them, kabam uses daunted and protection as example but this is not limited to both of these. You can go to original post made for kabam and read the whole text.

her damage reach definitely doesnt feel as good compared to before, but I wrote it off as just me imagining it. This would make sense though.

As you have so clearly just quoted, when it comes to these changes that Kabam made, they were quite specifically talking about damage increase and reduction effects. Not attack increase and reduction. They even go out of their way to state that damage modifiers will now behave in a similar way to attack modifiers. According to them, they set the way attack modifiers work as the baseline, they did not make changes to it. Therefore, this interaction between damage modification and attack modification is not intended.

There is even a screenshot of Jean damage in solo raids, when before Daunted nerf she did ~700k cap damage and now it is ~500k damage. This is ~30% damage reduction for Jean.

I feel like daunted as a whole has been gimped, especially against Yelena. Using samurai, gentle and jean, I'm still doing very little damage on my sp2s (fully ramped)

Gentle, normally will hit a 50kish crit on each sp2 hit with 12 muscle mass, however, on Yelena, it's around the 13k mark, seems to be reversed, kinda how iron hearts vulnerability was actually gimping her damage, same goes for silver samurai, my sp2 isn't doing nearly as much as it should.. all game modes

Cull damage is not weak here, when the purple rout icon of his happenes he deals energy damage which solvarch has high defense on it and takes lower damage from any enegry attack, for Zola dont use special attacks at all like just use normal attacks on Zola.

This is one of the reasons why Kabam asked for where and when the damage reduction was observed. There are players who have no idea about how the game works. If kabam went and started testing Cull, it would be a waste of everyone's time.

The other reason is that it is easier to check where the player already knows a bug has happened

yep but the jean issue kabam does need to see it cause if they being dumb dumbs buffed inequeity because of how protection and daunted changed a bit they need to fix it ASAP

HHey Guys this is my r4 jean grey doing a sp2 with 39 neuroshocks in the current elder difficulty side quest to the carnage, each burst dealing only 53-56k. From what i remember these were the number being put up by her at r2 earlier. I have attached a 6 second clip of her sp2 and if you want the full fight please ask.

You don't need to use these words here, Kabam are messing around with that area, they made some tweaks so its valid that something might be off. In normal questing most probably you might not see it so could be a specific interaction. I feel like I don't really trust any champ to remain the way they were, so many things keep getting changed just to balance another thing, idk anymore if the champion I had 6 months ago is the same one.

Nowadays 7r4 Jean couldn’t knock out 7r4 Yelena with simple sp1+sp2. Sometimes you have to stack up lots of neuroshocks to guarantee the damage.

I feel the daunted ability is far more affected by the former fix for DThanos/Daunted case.
