Stop Wasting People’s Efforts in the Bin and Listen to the Community
The new Essentia system in Marvel Contest of Champions feels extremely frustrating for many players.
For years, players have been saving different currencies by grinding events, completing content, and carefully managing resources. Now with the new system, we are told that we can only convert 8000 Essentia per week. For players who have large stacks of old currencies, this means it could take 3 to 5 years just to convert what they already earned.
How does that make sense? Why should players who spent years building these resources now be forced to wait several more years just to use them?
Another major issue is the store change. Earlier, there were multiple stores where players could buy rank-up materials depending on their needs. Now those options have been reduced and placed into a single store with fewer materials available. Instead of improving the system, it feels like player progression has been restricted.
It honestly feels like years of player effort are being thrown into the bin.
Players invest time, effort, and dedication into this game. When systems change in a way that limits the value of what players already earned, it creates frustration rather than excitement.
Please reconsider the weekly Essentia conversion cap and the reduced store options. The community has been very vocal about these concerns, and it would be good to see the developers actually listen.
Players want the game to improve, not feel like their past effort no longer matters.
