What's the point of running Raids now?

Genuine question. Why use Essentia to buy Raids tickets when we could use that Essentia to purchase what we'd get in Raids chests anyway? Plus, we can target exactly the materials we want rather than deal with the RNG of the chests. What am I not understanding here?

The essentia cost of one raid is 12,600. The glory you get back from raids plus the raid chests don't pay back the essentia at all. Even if we add the radiance it barely pays back if we use the value of 2 T4A

That is exactly right. You run the risk of getting straight garbage rewards when you can just buy the stuff you need for much less in the store.

we can’t even claim the glory we would get without a store. Most are maxed out. Getting more today tha will go to waste. There is no point of running AQ for glory that we cannot do anything with. Pointless

cancel raids, raids are dead. i would rather use 12600 essentia to buy stuff i want rather than get 3 chests of t6c and useless glory

what difference does this make kabam, we already cancelled raids because it was too expensive. this will be useful in one month

glory 4X a week will outpace conversion rate. Need the old stores back or more opportunity convert to new currency.
