Their “fix” doesn’t address any issue.
They did it in the past with the Sigil and it was the reason why I cancelled it. I don't know if you remember; but they changed the credits which was ok; but i had to buy the "new sigil" to spend credits I had already earned
yep
if they want to limit our resources for some reason that’s one thing, I don’t agree with it and it still makes no sense, but if that’s the route they’re going to go then it should have been communicated how it was going to work. It should have been communicated properly that the stores were going away. It should have been communicated properly that there was a 400 glory trade in per week. What are they even doing over there?
I’m sure someone has a slide or a random post where it was randomly stated but that isn’t proper communication. You have YouTubers whose jobs it is to cover this game and/or have a separate forum with kabam to discuss things who didn’t know the stores were going away or about the caps.
Kabam please and this too the essentia store
Tier 1 alpha's
Tier 4 basic
Tier 2 alpha
I think those have been added to the mysterium store now, do check it I may be wrong I only glanced
what kind genius works at kabam man… u got atleast 5k glory a week and the limit for conversion is 2k.. what the f do you do with the 3k left.. go to waste… i dont understand how these people wrap shiet around they heads
My only hope - and this is probably me being delusional - is that they didn't increase the absolutely embarrassing cap on incursions because they're going to temporarily open the Incursions store back up because there are probably A LOT of users who were at around or over 400,000 artifacts and could just buy a crystal to deplete those staches.
They're still radio silent on what the 'solution' is for people wanting incursions crystals cause if their answer is the Radiance store… they're out of their minds.
For something announced months ago, it's pretty obvious that there was not a day spent on actually examining the results of the rollout (Kabam classic) before actually doing it, guess they just programmed it and called it a day
so many glory go to waste today expiring in stash.. phuc dzu kabam
all the people at kabam go to helllll… ur wife will cheat on.. ur kids will leave you … everyone hatesss you… ur mom and dad dont care about you… cuz u r a dummmbbb bich.
We changed bgs so you can now use 3 rerolls a match except we also changed the store so you can only get 5 rerolls a week……..
😂Kabam, Kabam, kabam😒
thats already increased to 35
I wouldn’t advocate anyone being fired but perhaps pay them in Essentia for the rest of the year.
the update is a step in the right direction s but it's not enough. You're locking our earned currencies. Let people buy what they want. There are already purchase limits. Let us convert everything we have up to 100k essentia and let us spend it how we like. Whats the sense is drip feeding us back our own currencies that we earned! It's madness. If someone wants to buy out the store, let them! I guarantee you it won't happen because 1) half the items are overpriced and 2) people buy what they need and then wait for the reset the following week. That's why purchase limits exist. It makes no sense to also have currency conversion limits. This is an easy win for you guys. Get rid of the currency conversion limits and take the w
How about they pay them but limit the amount of money they can spend monthly? That way maybe they learn a thing or two ..
With the update, the limit conversion still make no sense and the fact that all of this wasn' t a bug is mindblowing
what i don’t understand about this, is that they’re trying to Limit the amount players could buy right away. If we were hoarding all currencies already, we could’ve bought stuff with what we had… we just didn’t. We save and stash them. How is it not the same logic for Essentia????
Imagine if the titan crystal after the rollover tomorrow was limited to 100k shards spendable per week, in order to “reduce competitive advantage from hoarders.” That’s exactly what limiting the conversion feels like.
Pay them in a foreign currency and limit conversion to about 100

Now it all makes sense, they are playing the long game to screw people out of the currency they have already earned.
whats also unclear to me is this is manual conversion, and they mentioned they would tell us before automatic conversion happens. does that mean after 270 days, the rest of what we have will be automatically converted to essentia?
I think, and this is just me talking here, I have no direct knowledge of Kabam's plans in this situation explicitly, Kabam has placed a timer on this because they don't want people to hoard the old currencies. They want to give players a push to actually convert them and use them as quickly as the game will allow. They do not want players to get the impression there's any advantage to holding onto them. So there's a timer.
But Kabam will watch player inventories to see if their trade in facilities combined with players' intake of Essentia actually allow players to convert it all before the timer expires. If the circumstances appear to force players to not convert (let's say the amount of Essentia we earn is high enough that some players would run into the Essentia cap if they converted too quickly) then Kabam will reevaluate both the timer and the trade in limits, as well as the currency caps.
I think things are unclear right now because Kabam itself does not know what will happen 270 days from now. Maybe everyone will have fully converted. Maybe some time in July they decide the economy can handle faster conversion and doubles the trade limits. Maybe half the player base decides to hoard Glory because they think the Glory Fairy will come along and reward them with something. Kabam probably does not want to specifically state what their plans are because they want the option to change the system to ensure everyone converts successfully eventually. The last thing they want to do is have really active players with large stashes of currency get stranded unable to convert and staring at the prospect of losing a ton of hard earned currency. They want the option to change things however they see fit to ensure that doesn't happen, without completely eliminating the currency conversion throttles entirely.
What I don't understand is this: if Kabam doesn't want us to hoard the currencies, then why are there caps on conversions? Why is it manual at all to begin with and not just immediately automatically converted? If they don't want us to hoard then the decisions they've made are all incongruent with each other.
The reason I thought manual conversion was going to be introduced initially is because the old BGs Incursions and Glory stores were going to stay open momentarily. That way, we'd have a bit of time to see how to use and deplete some of the old currencies, and begin to move them to the new one and start spending at the new store.
(I will continue to say how it's absolutely asinine that I have over 400,000 incursions artifacts, and no place to buy a 7* incursions crystal, therefore I will have to convert my 400,000 artifacts to essentia and use on something else, and yet I can only convert 8,000 of them a week. Kabam needs to address this and honestly re-open the previous stores for a final month but they have not addressed this at all and completely ignored it on their announcement update post)
They want you to lose it that's why....
i am not being sarcastic, it happens in real life. Look at the US not making Pennies anymore, you might think oh who cares if I lose 10 cents, now shift it to a global scale.
They don't want us to hoard them, because they want to get rid of them completely. They don't want us to convert them all at once, because that would dump a ton of currency into the Essentia store and they don't want that to happen either.
They want that legacy currency to flow into the Essentia economy at a controlled rate (personally I think it was a very poor choice of words to say "drip" into the economy). Do I personally think this was necessary? Hmm, probably not. But it is a common default desire for game economy designers. In this case I think it was an extra complication that was not worth it. If I was in the room I probably would have fought to not do this.
I would have lost, because I don't think I could convince enough game economy designers to take my side. I get it, I just don't agree with it. Like pineapple on pizza.
I mean they could have both controlled it, and made it automatic, if they'd wanted to.
1 - Convert everyone's legacy currencies into Essentia in an individual account.
2 - Transfer 5% of the balance to the player every week for 20 weeks.
Done.
However, that would have taken their time and effort, rather than our time and effort, so...nah…
”hey guys, when Essentia launches, 90% of your current resources will be unusable” … they know exactly how that would’ve went over so instead of saying it on the livestream which supposedly was to give us all the info, let’s just surprise em and say “we didn’t want people to get too much at once” … even though the store has buy limits 🙄 … not to mention the fact that many of us were under the impression the stores would overlap for a month or two based on the stream.
This still doesn't make much sense as inputted though, because they have put weekly caps on how much you can purchase with Essentia itself anyways.
