Rewards

So the rewards are great for magic and the shards/Chrystal's are easy to buy how ever the battle grounds ranked… I get lined up with people that would straight dog me. No where near my rank. Why does this happen? I get lined up with legends, some I can beat, and people with to many rank 4 seven stars. I only got 4 ranked 4 seven stars in my battle ground deck. Help me please

When you play in the ranked mode (victory track and gladiator circuit) you will match with anyone at your same rank (diamond 5 in VT or 15 pts in GC for example). So you could run into anyone who happens to be playing at the same time as you. Could be a celestial ranked player that just started playing this season or a brand new paragon who just got access to the mode. The matchmaking in ranked mode only cares about your level in the mode, not your champion's power level.

If you want to only face people similar in roster size to you, you can choose the unranked mode. In that one matchmaking is done based on roster, but you cannot climb the VT or gain points in GC that way.
