Battle grounds rewards

I personally think rank needs to be reworked. I’m tired of matching with someone on the same level then right after is people with champs far better then mines with a very slim chance to win. The game is rigged and to get gladiator is now damn near impossible. How are people supposed to get radiant rewards when consistently being miss matched with players on complete different levels. I would encourage swapping how ranked works with unranked cause I have played to many games with people that I shouldn’t be in there with back to back. Don’t see how it’s consider ranked when someone with 12 7 star rank 4 champs and the rest rank 3 vs someone with 4-5 7star rank4 and the rest rank 3-2 7star and rest maxed 5 stars is “ranked” the same. You're not supposed to get radiance, you're meant to complete for it. That competition involves the accounts you don't want to play against.

This is bcos big accounts are all unmotivated to play, they end up in VT longer than they should, these accounts only reach GC in the last week or days, they get their radiance while playing as little as possible, it works for these bigger accounts

The impact is smaller accounts end up getting matched against these big accounts in VT, they end up having a harder time than they should bcos bigger accounts are not willing to progress faster and earlier than previously

Smaller accounts have to play many more matches if they want to reach GC and get radiance bcos of this impact

I have a big account and I am honestly tired of starting at Diamond 5 every season, I already give up giving feedback to Kabam since they don't want to listen so I slowly progress through VT, I get matched against smaller accounts and some of them are actually smart enough to forfeit at the ban stage, those who chose to fight me get steam rolled by my champions and they waste 12 mins of their time with the same result had they chose to forfeit right at the start when they see my deck

I understand that being matched with larger account sucks, but I realize don't see another way to go about it. I don't have a large account myself (half of my decks are ranks 3s), but I don't have an issue with BG matchmaking. I think this has been mentioned multiple times before. Being matched based on your account rating doesn't make sense in a mode like BG, because then what is the incentive to rank up then? If you rank up a bunch of champions only to also face stronger opponents in BG, then in what sense your roster has "gotten better", and there is no satisfaction in doing so. Also, it doesn't make sense an account with say 5 rank 4s should get match up against other account with 5 rank 4 and achieve the same level and get the same reward as an account with 30 rank 4s. Again, I know getting matched with large account sucks, but I think BG is a mode that inherent punishes smaller account and I feel like that is what it is suppose to be. If you want to progress further, you either try really hard to upgrade your champs or you get insanely skillful (which is possible, I see accounts with mostly rank3s in GC).

It is consider same "ranked" because they have reached the same level in VT, it means that regardless of the champ power, you both have won enough matches to progress to level silver, or gold or vibranium. If you a below average roster, that probably means that you are an above average skill player. Both matters. I feel like this is pretty standard way to go about something kind of pvp content. It is never only about the skill but also about what kind of level up champs you have.

When radiance first came out I would get to GC in the first week for the 10k radiance. Now, I don’t really care enough about radiance for it drive me get out of victory track early. This season cleared victory track last Saturday. Honestly, I’m not motivated to play BG at the moment.
