Was just going to come here and post that the node wasn't working. I faced a few non-saga champs, and even fighting them normally and nuking a bit (e.g., Deadpool X's SP1 with 10 charges), the fights lasted over 30 seconds.
The wording is non Saga defenders will lose 5% of their health per second so it will have a diminishing return over time.
It doesn't say either 'max' or 'current,' though, so it's ambiguous and could be interpreted either way.
I thought it was going to be victory track and the test was whether to include it for half of GC.
And if they use it in VT, it would be nice to know if it will have any stellar forge pieces so that we can rank up appropriately. Not a lot of good defenders that are saga tagged right now.
I just played a few rounds with Saga defenders and it's not fun. The main issue is that there aren't that many good Saga defenders. Once I ban 5 of the Saga defenders, there isn't much defenders left to use. So far I'm not a big fan of it. I don't like to face the same defenders all the time but these Saga defender is very restrictive. Also most of the Saga defenders are really a good defender to begin with so it makes it a nuke fest.
