Why not release all of the carina challenge at once ?

My question is to the genius at kabam who came up with this idea to release them one by one to cover up one anf half month of content because they are too lazy to make anything new or too busy nerfing other characters in game. With these new changes . We have people banking at the final bosses for entire week. And we can't stop thinking about it once we have started it ( the carina challenge) . This is very exhausting mentally and things like these unnecessary dragging carina challenge is one of the reason many people are leaving game out of burn out. But oh well people will just mock this post saying touch some grass and kabam will just ignore it . Just waiting my time venting it out. Peace ✌️.

Probably because a brand new-ish piece of content is also part of the challenges. You can also just be patient. No one is telling anyone to do challenges a week early and sit there. That's your choice.

it’s so we have something to wait every week, something to be excited about , and it’s also healthier

some people would just do all of them in one sitting of 24 hours and that’s really unhealthy and then they’ll complain there is nothing else to do

Most likely because many of us have hoarded a ton of revives from Back Issues so we are able cruise through Carinas without spending units or money, but relying on our stash. By releasing Carina Challanges step by step + removing Back Issues from the game for good, Kabam makes sure, that all our revives have expiered by the time the hard challenges of Carinas are released, hereby forcing us to use units and money.

Completely false unfortunately. If they were released all at once, this would be true. But how they are releasing them, you can farm the revives and have even more stock piled up for the next one since you have am entire week. Back issues aren't going disappear until April 8th. Last challenge is April 15th. And since revives last 14 days, it's not even an issue for the last challenge. If anything, they made it even easier to manage your revives and replenish them for those who are ready to jump right in.

Its the same answer as to "Why not release all the Side Quest at once?".

Kabam wants you to keep playing the game over time, and the best way is to have multiple carrots dangling in front of you to chase.

Can’t fight and park for the last 2 challenges. I kinda like it like this. Makes it much less stressful, because I’m one of those who loves to get new stuff done as quickly as possible.

I agree with others above, it is likely primarily for continued engagement. Like Summer of Pain, gets you locked into an ongoing schedule.

Helps people get hooked on the game so that they want more now now now.

Removal of Back Issues is a bummer though.

Just log out for a month and then come back and they will all be unlocked for you to grind out in one sitting.

Out of all the things Kabam is doing recently, this is the one area that no one should be complaining about. These challenges are the funnest pieces of content they have dropped in a year or more. I really wish we got more endgame challenges and quests with amazing rewards like these.

While the impulsive part of me also wants them all unlocked now, the thoughtful part of me is glad that I get to enjoy the challenges longer. That I get to savor the strategizing, planning, and community discussions and guides longer. These are very fun aspects of this type of content.

Kabam, us reasonable individuals praise this content. You guys are doing a lot of crappy stuff lately but this isn't one of them. The community needs to recognize the good with the bad so we don't seem like we will just complain no matter what.

While I'm a few would disagreed with me on this (including the OP).

I actually, genuinely think it was a very smart move, well thought out and implemented for both the Carina Challenges and next Progression level and how to obtain it.

Have all present all 6 challenges so players have some ideas what to expect and plan, while releasing one challenge per week, create a series of target players can look forward to.

IIt also give time for the community for come together, chat discuss, CCPs have the chance to create contents.

It is something that actually bring some excitement to MCoC to a small window of time. This is a much better than releasing everything at once, players either rush and stress getting to done, only to lost all excitement, twirling their thumbs and complaint they are bored.

Honestly this might be the only good thing going on with MCoC right, especially since BG is really dead right now.

I actually more concern for what happened after this run of Carina Challenge and 9.4 ended.

If something in other area in MCoC not improving then we will be in dire situation

Actually no. It's healthy this way cause back then during The Volume 3 everyone was unhappy about doing it all at once, with the Necro challenges they did at the very least had the decency to wait out the Deathless Thanos one and they are taking that route as well in keeping healthier for the players.
