If I start my Hero's Abyss path today but don't complete until tomorrow, will that count for Carina?

Yeah, just bored, thought I start it tonight and wait at the collector until tomorrow and beat him then. Does anyone know if that will still clear the mission?

It's worked for both Ordeals, so it seems likely that it will work. But also, it might not, and there's no way to know until it can no longer be done ahead of time.

Well to be completely fair, Kabam never stated that this will work. So players wouldn't have the "right" to complaint.

However I really do hope it work for everyone trying it though. If it work this week I might jump in early next week.

Best practice would be to just go as far as you can without using items and then wait to see if it works. Then you don't waste any resources if you end up needing them, but you also knock a bunch of it out ahead of time.

At least when I spread it around i told everyone I was like 99% sure it wss fake lol

But to repeat myself from another thread there is nothing currently stopping us from pre running the path but if kabam really felt like it they could add something that requires running the path after tje challenge goes live like an objective placed before this one that says we need to beat thing or something. We just dont know and like everything in this game we have to gamble

I just went in, I’m just casually doing it, it’s really not as bad as it once was with a full team of R4s. To be honest the hardest node so far is dropped inputs and dashing forward for no reason. So far only 3 or 4 legit revives and I’m half way.

Well, the challenge mentions only completion of Abyss. So it works both ways, even though kabam didn’t mention, they also didn’t mention that all the fights have to take place after the challenge starts.

You are still doing the challenge, just waiting to clear the boss. The only benefit is saving time. Its not cheating. Its like queuing up early for a new release of anything.

Tbh I don't see the point of doing the challenges this way in the first place. You still have to do the entire path…what's the difference.

My recommendation: Play it safe, and just start after the challenge comes out - I don't trust Kabam not to punish people for taking advantage of this

That is all. I don't blame people for doing it, especially if maybe they're gonna be busy for a few days or something.

ItIt's not as if anybody is gaining any real advantage when they get it done a few hours sooner than the next person.
