30 champs feels bad now in bgs

Now with 30 champs again it feels like i dont have enought defenders and counters
And 3 bans isnt enough too
40 was better
The only problem with the 40 was 5 champs options in each draft like the 30 champs
If you upgrade to 40 champs you should also upgrade 6 champs options in each round of draft
Because with 40 its harder to get a counter

No thanks, I prefer not losing a match against someone with a deck half the size as mine just because RNG decided they would get Serpent Nico and Britain while I got all attackers and not a single counter for any of them. 40 deck is trash and shouldn’t be a thing, it adds more RNG to a game mode that doesn’t need more RNG, the draft is already RNG enough with the 30 deck

A 40-deck with 5 bans is a huge improvement over the 30-deck, 3-ban format. It brings much more diversity in playstyles, more strategic choices, and better opportunities to find counters against your opponent’s deck. It really expands the depth of strategy.

This game is RNG-based, so there’s no point bringing RNG into the argument, whether it’s 20, 30, or 40, RNG will always be there.

I really hope Kabam brings back the 40, 5-ban format.

It doesn’t bring more diversity to playstyles because bs defenders require direct counters, no matter how you play it, most of them have abilities you can’t really play around.
Better opportunities to find counters yes but also more opportunities to get cooked because you didn’t draft the top ones. I could draft Jane and Werewolf for days and I still wouldn’t beat a Nico or a Spiral against Serpent or Maestro in speed, neither would I beat Nico or Pav against Dark Phoenix, and neither would I ko a Thanos faster than Pav or Starky. Just because you get to bring in more counters doesn’t change the fact that the usual suspects are still the best for a reason and no matter how much you adapt your playstyle, if the other person doesn’t mess up you will lose if they draft them and you don’t.
There absolutely is a point in bringing RNG into the argument, there is already enough RNG with a 30 deck format, a 40 deck makes it even more RNG because then not only are you less likely to draft the usual suspects you are also more likely to get the same one or two champs you don’t need when you reroll. Why would anyone want to advocate for more RNG? For a game mode that is supposed to be mostly skill based, this is just straight up dumb.

There isn't strategy if a defender can only be countered by max 3-4 options and they can all get banned. At least with 30 I have less of a chance of losing because my deck isn't fully r4 or worse now seeing r5s with ascension

This is precisely my pov. Yes, Jane can counter Serpent, Strange can do Serpent too but are we really about to act like both of them stand a chance against the likes of Nico Pav Kushala Spiral, and soon Madelyne? Lol the answer is obviously no, all of these five will be easily capable of getting higher scores no matter how much you adapt your playstyle, so in the end that increased space for more counters doesn’t really do much for you because what you really want is to draft the usual suspects not draft niche counters. This exact scenario is basically the same for the rest of the usual suspects from other classes not just cosmic/mystic. A 40 deck format makes it harder to draft the usual suspects and therefore more annoying because the mode itself becomes even more RNG even with the rerolls, higher chance of getting a champ you don’t need, that already popped up previously, multiple times in a row.

I wasn't impressed with Experimental Battlegrounds

It felt like I should've been getting paid IRL money to waste my time getting roster stomped.

It's not even a Skill issue when I'm looking like a subhuman clown going against a deck full of juiced up/ISO'D up Champs - who look like a buncha YuGiOh Monster Cards.

BG is just cooked. 30 champs, 40 champs, 100 champs... The nodes r garbage anyway. If u dont get the hard counter, u lose. On top of that, they made the rewards worse... and they cant figure out why nobody wants to play it anymore…
