So You Don't Have a Heal-Block Champion? Surprise! Here's 1M Heal Per Minute Opponent For You!

So I'm doing Abyss of Legends for the first time because of the Carina's Challenge and this guy shows up. Is this suppose to make you quit the game? Because how the hell do you know that there's an opponent that could heal 1M hp per minute in this quest? So if you don't have a champion with Heal Block, you quit? I've spent 1hr in this quest already and have gone this far and now I just quit because of this opponent? Wasted lots of revives and potions here. So lame.

I don't know what nodes Deadpool has but if he isn't immune to healing reduction or debuffs and you have despair, you can use Frankencastle and just keep his incinerates up.

It's my first time doing this quest.

Did I not choose my path? The hell I'm supposed to know which path to take? All opponents are hidden and this was the easiest path with my team here until this Deadshit showed up.

He doesn't actually take damage because of the 1M healing. It's stupid. Need heal block to damage him. Or he just heal 30khp every time you hit him. My Adam dealing 55k on medium attacks and no damage. He's just healing it

That doesn't mean put a blindfold on, pick five champs from different classes, pick random paths, and then wing it. You did this with zero prep you absolutely deserved getting roadblocked. Planning has always been a major factor when it comes to endgame content, something you obviously didn't do and naturally these are the consequences.

I would like to point out that Abyss has regular comments from Gwenpool, typically showing up in most forks in the paths. In her dialogue, she will often highlight certain particularly dangerous fights that will show up on either path.

I do not know most of the dialogue she gives. I do know, though, that one of them is a warning for Deadpool at the fork just before his encounter. She tells you, paraphrasing here, that on that path you will face a familiar champ with crazy Regen and Immunity to Petrify.

What I’m trying to say is that the game did actually warn you, you probably just ignored it.

Also, this team kinda sucks balls. You should be planning things with a quest like Abyss. Routing a path and planning your options would have saved you the headache of running into this guy without a counter (and running a team that is as unprepared in general as this one. Did you just pick your top 5 champs or something? Because if so that’s a recipe for disaster in a lot more situations than this).

You've been playing since 2017, and have r4 champs. There are maps galore of Abyss opponents with nodes. And again, how did you pick that team? Just randomly selected 7* hero champs that you had?

I'd suggest starting over, looking at the maps, finding good counters, and trying again.

I did not know Gwenpool was warning. I didn't read it 🤣 But I do know there's opponent showing up when she shows up. Haha! but yeah, it's my first time doing this quest and only did it for that Carina's Challenge. I didn't have any idea what I'm up to. I agree this team sucks but it's all my top #heroes in my roster. That's why I brought them. I've had 13 opponents beaten so far and tbh, I one-rounded most of them. Only the IMIW gave me hard time and spent on revives. Until this guy shows up. Game's over.

If only there was a platform our there with videos and guides from people that did the content in the past. Man whoever invents the platform would get rich, you could even upload random vids or watch random vids for entertainment

I just watched the final boss and yeah this team sucks. Lol. I thought I could do it. These are my top #hero champs in the roster that's why they're so random. If only I had Warlock in it, I could've moved on easily. Haha

I've never played this quest til now. Just tried the Carina's Challenge tagged #hero champs only. They are my top #hero champs in my roster so I brought them in. Yeah. I had no idea man. I guess I'll try this quest again next year. Lol

Your whole "it's my first time ever doing this quest" isn't an excuse.

My first time stepping foot in Abyss was last week. Guess what? I didn't get roadblocks because I went in prepared for the path I was taking.

Take the L and prepare next time. It'll save you time.

Hey, if you are planning to reset you should use some content creator tools to help guide you on your run. Personally I really like this one "cerebro-bot.com" which I found through MCoC N00Bs youtube channel. In this site it will show you the champions you have and compare them with what counters each path.

What he said! Last week was my very first attempt at the Abyss even though I've been playing for years. I watched multiple videos by different content creators, downloaded the map and planned my fight before stepping foot. I spent a total of 4 revives for the entire quest and 3 of them was on the final boss.

Exactly this! This is the one quest where you absolutely needed to read the dialogue to avoid getting road blocked. I remember watching Seatin (who always skips the pop ups) do it live and even he stopped to read the dialogue.

My team was Odin, Heimdall, Kushala, Green Falcon and white mags.

Kushala melted all the cosmics, used green falcon for mordo and loki, used odin for a couple fights (can't remember which ones) and heimdall as the main clearer.

Only problem fight was IMIW last 15%, used heimdall to get him mostly down (9%) and finished him off with Odin.

That was my one revive used on the path.

Heimdall did most of the work on collector as well. Died in his last 10% a few times mostly because I forgot to use white mags prefight and I was rushing; i think I used 6-7 revives on collector.
