Only on the forums will you see this comment.
Credit where it's due - he's either smart enough to rage bait the entire community, or he's dumb enough to rage bait the entire community π€·ββοΈ
Can't fault his enthusiasm though
If you ban the fish monkey.... he will just go to global chat and annoy them. Have a heart... those poor global chatters have it bad enough as is.
This is such BS.
It is up to the moderators to decide if someone's conduct is actionable. The moderators are not there to satisfy the demands of the forum members. If they decide not to act, so forum members decide they are forced to act, they risk subjecting themselves to moderation themselves.
I am not a moderator for the forums, but I am a volunteer moderator for the Discord. Rule 9 on the Discord states: respect the decisions of the moderators. That includes when they act, and when they choose not to act. The forums have the same rule (it is Rule 12). The rule exists not because the moderators are infallible and all their decisions are correct, but rather because it is the only way the moderators can function without things becoming draconian. Moderation is all judgment calls, not black or white decisions. That judgment is not going to always look accurate or even consistent, but that's because human judgment never is. Absent this sort of discretion, things don't end well for anyone.
I have yet to see them add anything of value to any thread, they do not engage in good faith and itβs quite clear that the only reason they come to the forums is to rage bait other members or derail threads with inane glazing.
The effort it takes to do this day after day, for no benefit other then trying to upset someone else, really to speaks to the true individual behind the moniker.
Ban them so they can get the help they truely need.
Upon further consideration, I've decided to close this thread. I've said my peace, and so has everyone else, but I don't want it to be left open over the weekend, because it is in fact against the rules to just bash on another forum poster, no matter who that poster is. As I said, if someone has a grievance, they should report it. And then accept the decision of the moderators after they do.
Any amount of disagreement with content is acceptable. I can say I think this is wrong, I think this is off topic, I think this is inappropriate. What is not acceptable is this poster is always wrong; this poster is never on topic, this poster should not be here.
