Yeah Mike (I believe, or some other Kabam employee) said they were "readily available throughout the contest" but at least as of now, that's really not true.

There were some in the Alliance War Showcase. There are now 15 each in the Epoch Hero and Epoch Villain Carina's challenges, but thats much much more difficult content. It's all still RNG reliant, so if you need 10 of the same class, it still takes time or resources.

There's the Radiance store, where 2 class token gems costs around 2,000 radiance, with the price increasing each time you buy it. And it's still RNG.

(All of this is moot for your specific scenario though, as you need to pull Gentle again from the Ascension crystal so that you have another of his tokens to take him up).

you need to either pop 1 milion empowered crystals, or open a lot of ascended 7* crystals, you get 2 from carina challenges and 2 from act 9.4, but even then its still a chance, there is no guarantee unfortunately, i would really like to ascend my emma frost but so far no luck.
