I don’t hate you at all. In terms of the main issue, it's not a scam. You're not being sold anything that is fraudulent.
I can see people have concerns about Pots. That's the real issue. It doesn't matter if it comes from Loyalty, Essentia, or Pogs.
I'm just waiting to see, rather than reacting. They want to create a central currency. That's the whole point of this. The Essentia store is still a work in progress. I'll wait to see.
The amount of Pots people are using is a separate subject and there are a number of layers to it.

My role is to keep you informed about what’s coming to the game and to accurately relay your feedback and feelings to the development team. Oftentimes, sifting through what is said to distill what you're actually feeling. Sometimes miscommunications happen within the team, and sometimes things don’t come across as intended in text. That doesn’t mean anyone on the Team is lying to you. Not every change or feature that comes to the game will be popular. Even in those cases, it’s still my responsibility to tell you what’s coming. No matter what is being released, I always communicate with the team as someone who deeply understands the game and wants what’s best for both the game and the community. I never said Loyalty was useless. In this thread, I acknowledged the issue being faced, confirmed that I’ve flagged it in the past, and said I would bring it up with the team again. At the end of the day, all I can do here is tell you current plans and what’s going to happen.
What makes it even funnier is that it should be a relatively quick and effortless fix. All they have to do is add more potion levels and lower all potion costs…
yeah exactly this should be an easy decision but for whatever reason we’re not being told they haven’t addressed war potions in 7 years maybe??? It’s crazy this isn’t the way to make your money kabam no one will pay the price you expect war potions to cost so you might as well make a war potion system that’s cheap and great like AQ potions cuz we will never pay up you can count on that. Just give us what we want so we can all move on from this and stop with the monetization of top tier wars.

Potions should be percentage based anyways. level 1 potions were designed for 3*s.
Mike you cannot be their spokesperson and loved all the time. You knew that the loyalty was going to be an issue, you said so yourself but said nothing to us about it. You say what they allow you to say which means you hold back stuff when you know its wrong, just like you admit in your earlier post. That is always going to put you in the cross hair.
You don't keep us informed, you tell us what they allow you to say, please do not pretend those two things are the same.
Sometimes miscommunication happens within the team??? With every update and change there are always problems. Communication is the biggest complaint by the players and has been for years, guess what, it really still sucks. All you have to be is open and transparent but you guys never are, and your own post about the loyalty again proves that. The essentia rollout alone, nothing was communicated about the massive loss of buying power because you were nerfing the rewards. It was sold as one currency so we could play what we wanted to play in reality its the exact opposite. In order to buy what we could have bought under the old system we have to play all the game modes and still come up short.
I guess I believe you that you fight for the community behind the scenes but it gets really hard to keep believing you when these changes happen and your announcement makes it seem like its going to be awesome, and in reality it sucks for us. No one blames you, but you hold a position that will take the blunt force of the blame because you are the face of the company.
On the flip side, you come off as a rock star when things are great. Its not our fault that the company doesn't have a history of making pro player decision.
I don't really have a dog in this fight, but y'all get that most of the player base is probably not vals. Most of the player base do not play competitive AW. Not every part of the game rewards structure needs to be tailored to your progression level. I for one have no need of all the AQ pots and revives they are now giving us. I can't remember the last time I died in AQ, however there are tons of players that those pots help so that change wasn't for me it was for them.
I agree that the loss of 150k loyalty is kinda annoying, but I assume the change was made to benefit more casual players.
I don't play AW, barely play AQ, but I valued the loyalty I got from the weekly rewards as I wanted to get and then dupe Unstoppable Colossus. I got the original, still saving for the dupe and now I get no loyalty. This sucks balls.
What benefit does earning less loyalty give players exactly?
We do hear a lot that there is miscommunication from the teams. My question is what is Kabam's plan in place to address the constant miscommunication between the teams? Have you created new processes based on communication between teams? Do you have meetings with all teams (in person) included to discuss changes, what descisions have been made and any potential risks? Do you have a readiness checklist where each team signs off on what was discussed, what the change is and if it was tested? Most of the time the biggest problem is using a messaging app to discuss these items and not having in person meetings, it is easy to misinterpret something that is written. Miscommunication between teams has plagued this game since the beginning and it baffles me that there isn't a process that has been created to eliminate this. That failure to address this is top down problem. Leadership shouldn't be okay with Karate Mike and the forum mods constantly taking the heat for their lack of leadership. The problem is that this is a really simple fix. It probably wouldn't eliminate the problems completely but it sure would cut it down to a minimum.
Its the same complaint for 11 years. They keep updating ways to communicate with us, forum, discord, twitch but never addressing the issue of just being transparent and honest.
I just wish bad news were just that, just bad news followed by X reason; but no they just keep hyping up changes that end up being worse and to make things worse changes that haven't been planned, thought out or excuted right.
I'd disagree. If potions were percentage-based, then you'd have to use the same amount of potions to fully heal a 1* as you would for a 7*. I think there are fewer cons if Kabam just somewhat frequently adds new levels of potions and updates which ones they give out most often to fit the current average rank for a progression.
Like, elder players could get level 6 health potions, and if it's been a year and we're still on elder, they could just update it to give out level 7 potions the most often.
When they changed the revive to 40% they should have done percentage based HP pots.
Healing a 3* or a 7* would have been unified to pots, that would have been fine. The only thing needed maybe was a price difference between progression levels.
The scoring on the weekly event is also heavily skewed in favor of raids. The real test for most alliances will be this week. Our alliance comfortably reached the max milestone every week of the old event. Let’s see how it plays out this week. But my early impression is that we will fall short of at least the top 2 milestones. Maybe even 3. So the weekly event is giving us even less than

Remember when people were happy that a regular MCOC player is joining Kabam team after Kabam Miike left. People were expecting that now at least Kabam will listen the actual player.
Alas the main focus of that player is to help his alliance than the rest of the players.
I mean remember Purgatory "hack" in Nightmare raids against Korg when no one except the alliance of the said player brought purgatory in the nightmare raids against Korg.
At least with Kabam Miike, this helping specific alliances or partiality didn't happen "so openly" even though Miike was rude.
Lol if you want to criticize DinoMike, pretty sure you can find something better than Purgatory cheese in a game mode no one found hard to do with other champs

Right now ninja osaurus is one of the few people/kabam associate who is actively working "For Us, The Community". He is our voice. Things were ignored before him. He is active in forums, no one had this much engagement with results in the past. He is The Guy to go to.
