Deathless Thanos Heavy Attack

I don't know if it is just me but is anyone else having the issue where Deathless Thanos' heavy attack isn't properly interacting with heavy attack-related nodes.

I think you might be right. Against that 9.4 Zola boss I was struggling to remove his charges, but only sometimes.

In practice mode against Zola, the first heavy always does not remove his charges. Very odd and real bug. I know a lot of people lost revives in Epoch from Thanos's heavy failing to trigger with Idoom and Aegon's nodes.

In BGs i have the same issue. I think that is in every game mode.

Yup its a bug noticed it against ZOLA last night, his heavies dont reduce ZOLAs counter

Yep lost 4 revives against epoch Aegon solely because of that. I then stupidly forgot and brought Thanos again for a path in 9.4 with the same node that he should have been perfect for. Pretty frustrating.

I think Kabam intentionally broke DThanos to make us spend more revives in Villains Carina run and 9.4.

I struggled a few fights with DThanos in Carina Epoch run. Where you have to use heavy to counter the node. I said many warm words to Kabam while was dying because Thanos heavy is not registered.

It will be very annoying if we have to wait until the next update for this bug to be fixed. D Thanos was my first rank 5 and this bug is nerfing him hard.

It seems an intermittent problem. I've been testing DThanos Vs Zola in practice mode, the ESP charges do come off, but only about a third of the time.

Of course, there may be other factors involved which might make it fail more in content than it does in Practice mode.

Interestingly, I didn't see them come off on the first heavy attack during a single test...

I would like to add that this might not just be a DThanos problem. I tried using Bishop for the Power Sting Weapon path in 9.4.5 story, where you capture the Weapon and invalidate a Prowess by knocking down with a Heavy. I could not get either of those effects to trigger with Bishop at all, not even inconsistently. It just never worked at all.

We were able to reproduce this with Thanos and are investigating. Have not been able to reproduce with anybody else. So if anybody has videos of it not working for other champions please post them.

It is, but I’m not sure that’s what causes the bug, since after I gave up on Bishop I used Professor X and Leader, both of whom have non-contact Heavies, and faced no issues on that path.

Then again, I just tried Bishop against Zola since that’s the example everyone is bringing up with DThanos and from my quick 10 or so attempts, Bishop’s Heavy didn’t fail to remove charges once. Went back to that 9.4.5 path just to confirm that Bishop doesn’t work there and he definitely doesn’t. So maybe they aren’t even related issues actually, because if they aren’t then it’s very inconsistent on how it manifests.

@Kabam Crashed I believe there is also a bug with his synergy with She-Hulk (Deathless) not giving her a grit passive after punishing a heavy or special. I changed my plan for the Epoch gauntlet #Villain run when I realized it, after confirming it wasn't working in several game modes

That's not a bug, all deathless champs need to be present for that synergy to work.

It's a bug because in game it doesnt say you need to full team. We've had a thread on this already. They need to change the bugged text

But the “if all champs are present” is on the same line as the +50 VENGEANCE. Even though separated by a period on that line, and (for some reason then also has a colon afterwards). To what exactly is that saying it applies to ??

So could be very confusing, does just the +50 Vengeance need the ALL CHAMPS.

Or NOT (for Vengeance), but YES for everything afterwards ?
Or needs ALL for EVERYTHING in that box, even though the ALL CHAMPS is sort of stuck in the middle of different portions ?

If it is ANY Synergy can get the +50 Vengeance, but then only ALL CHAMPS included would get the additional listed benefits, then that line should be (Line Break, New Line) then the wording “ADDITIONALLY, IF ALL CHAMPS ARE PRESENT:” (colon), continue with champ lines..

Or if the ALL is needed even for the Vengeance part, then that line really needs to be moved TO THE TOP. (And again, on its own line, LineBreak separate from other lines.)

So not sure “reading issue on your part” really applies, when the paragraph/sentence structure is lacking specificity.

And that goes for BOTH of the provided pics, even though their different screen width caused line wraps to occur at different spots. The line wrap in either case above still shows the ALL part to be a continuation of the same Vengeance portion before it. Unless you happen to be lucky if there is yet a 3rd different width line-wrap case (?) where coincidentally the wrap falls exactly on the “If all champions” part.

Generally speaking, when there is an If statement, what follows is what applies. Not what precedes it. Especially when it is a new sentence after a Full Stop.

The "reading issue" is posting an image which has "if all champs are present" while claiming that it is not there.
