Getting hit while blocking Special Attacks

I've been getting knocked down by special attacks, while holding block. The special attacks are not unblockable, and there are no disorient debuffs on my champ.

One minute, I'm holding block and the defender throws it's special..while I'm still....holding....block.

The next minute, my champ is saying "ugh" while their health is dropping, and then picking themselves up off of the ground.

I don't what the hell is going on, but just wanted to mention it.

By any chance, were you fighting Onslaught?

Some champs or nodes put a Crush effect on you which disables your block.

I’m glad it’s happening to someome else cause it happened to me too while using BPCW against Britain yesterday. I have never missed a parry against her final sp1 hit and I was 100% sure I timed it right yesterday but nope it hit me straight in the face.

It happened to me as well, and I was using Mr. Sinister who can block unblockable special attacks. It's definitely a bug. In battlegrounds, I've been noticing defenders dashing in and breaking my block. I became aware of this issue when 9.4 was released.

No it wasn't Onslaught. I'm very familiar with his Crush ability.

I was using Iceman against Nico. I held block during all 3 hits of her Sp 2, but the last one knocked my champ down as if I wasn't holding block.

Same thing happened with more champs too

It's like the inputs are dropping while we're being attacked. That's a huge problem.

I was fighting iron heart and 4 times when dexing the last hit if the sp1 my guy just stood there and took the hit. I held block the entire time and swiped back but no movement. This happens sometimes in solo raids also against champion but this one was new and seems definitely like an input thing or they're messing with something.

I thought my device was the problem but it's assuring to hear that many people are facing the same issue and it's not my phone which is the problem.

But yeah, specials breaking blocks and are non evade able at all. Many times I have seen that I am blocking attacks but for some reason my champion lets go of the block and just takes in the hits, especially if I am blocking a special.

Moreover, I have discovered that sometimes you are unable to dex the special attack as well. For instance, Sp1 of Abomination. I have years of practice on dexing that Sp1 and Sp2 animation and recently I got caught while trying to dex his specials.

It's as @StuntzTheCMMKid has said, inputs are either dropping or not being registered at all.

This has been happening to me for a while.... My character randomly freezes when performing heavy attack or when I'm trying to dex after holding block I'll have to tap multiple times before they snap out of it

Yep it happened to me in a path while fighting. I'm used to those "I'm sure I parried here. I'm 100% sure I blocked this attack before it had the chance to get close." I had two reasons my thumb nail is long again and its a cut or my device is hard and the input isn't responding cause of the heat and start the app.

But those two didn't work and I was still getting fail block and inaccurate parry by the AI especially. The worst part is The AI did a full combo(4 attacks[M,I, I, I/M]. There is even a point where dex wasn't active [and opponent doesn't give ensnare effect].
