The Theme they’re going for, in my opinion, is Champions who used to “Rule” the Contest so anybody who fits into that category (I.E Quake) would be a safe guess

Yes, but also the Champion lore has to fit with the new class they get assigned to. Quake has never been associated with mutants afaik. She's Inhuman which in game logic would make her a cosmic champion. Deathless did have a class overlap and I imagine they'd want to avoid that here.

I dont think we have enough of a sample size to make any claims on exactly what the themes of the update are beyond the original characters having abilities/lore that fit into the class theyre being changed to. Im still not convinced that the whole "champions who used to be incredible and now arent" thing is actually what the theme is

It really would be a miss opportunity to not have Quake, the only lock 5* champs, be part of this.

A new 7* Quake with new kit without all the drama of nerf/change situation

This is one suggestion that I haven't seen thrown around much yet, but just hear me out: Science Ghost. She's still six star locked (like Doom and formerly Star Lord), and basically dominated MCOC for the longest time. I could easily see them reworking her Phase mechanic and Cruelties into something similar to Cassie Lang's heavy attack, and she could apply either Power Stings or some other debuff when hit during her Phasing.

I don't think they would make a whole new kit and leave the old one colleting dust as a 5*, also what other class she would be? Maybe Cosmic for the Inhuman side?

I believe Cosmic is already going to be covered by Doom. Science, Tech and Mutant are the only three classes unaccounted for. I'm also assuming they don't want to stretch too much to justify the class choice.

Science could be covered by Doctor Octopus, Diablo, Man-Thing, Beast, Sauron or Mister Sinister.

Tech could be MODOK, Yellowjacket, Ant-Man, Wasp, Scorpion or maybe BPCW.

Mutant could be Magik, Kamala, or Phoenix. Or Juggernaut if they want to lean into his recent turn as a member of the X-Men.

From what we've seen the theme that they're going for with the Stellar Forged champs has been those who were formerly some of the best in the game. Out of your options, I can see only Scorp and Magik possibly being options, everyone else wasn't really relevant at launch

He's otherworldly so could be cosmic. He's got that mysterious fancy belt so could be tech or they could give him WS arm. He's also 6* locked. Also, was a game-changer when he came out.
