There is no difference between (contender & proven) in EQ difficulty!!

I felt the difference among EQ difficulty, I am the uncollected ok, I felt the defenders IP average like 15000 and when I tuned it to conqueror the defenders IP average like 9200 BUT the proven and contender difficulties the defenders IP like 5100 and there is no difference???
I guess there must be difference between them, RIGHT? And if there is any difference I don't know please explain it in the response.

Maybe that they feel there has to be at least some minimum floor to the defenders on map. So bottom 2 progressions may have same strength of nodes.

But rewards are probably different, giving little better rewards for those in progression-2 versus progression-1.

Nobody stays in those progressions for maybe more than 1 hour after starting game nowadays (actually, don't know that for sure, but just feels like based on free champs they give).
