Ascendable Rank Up Gems Not Showing for Stellar Forged Blade

I currently have Ascendable Champions Rank Up Gems that I want to use on Stellar Forged Blade.

However, when I open the upgrade/rank-up option, the Ascendable Rank Up Gems do not appear as available to use. At the same time, when I filter the champions list to “Ascendable Champions,” Stellar Forged Blade does appear in that list.

Because of this, I’m not sure whether this is a bug or intended behavior. Can someone clarify if this issue is known and when it might be resolved?

And Kabam has been one of the responders in those other many threads.

Once he actually becomes Ascendable, the Gem will then work on him.
