bgs was not as bad as people made it seem

i was terrified watching these posts the whole month. i have 0 r5. about 20 r4s. i'm valiant. i reach the blade piece in about 4-5 days. I probably won about 70% of my matches so it didn't take long. i used some victory shields (about 5). yall are making it seem like it's the hardest thing ever and that's not even true becasue i suck so bad at this game and i still made it. there's definitely new strategy to it that you dont usually use in bgs and its throwing a lot of people off. the community is in shambles but shouldnt be. it was my least favorite meta for sure, but that doesn't mean its like impossible to complete.

Its safe to say, people who get to GC regularly are already in GC. This is how it's supposed to be.

Skill issue complaints are one thing, meta being unbearable annoying trash are another. I had zero issues getting to GC but the meta and the scoring changes have made it so damn unenjoyable I have zero interest in even getting to Quantum so I'm just sitting in Arcane.

Thats the difference between Bgs becoming completely a niche terrible mode vs Chase piece being behind gc. BGs is a time sink, no one wants to grind it and no one should.

But it isnt impossible to hit GC every 4th season though. The expected number of players are going to hit GC regardless of meta.

I have 0 sympathy for people who cant hit GC. I also understand the frustration behind the mode 'BG' as a whole. Been complaining long that Bg is not what it used to be.

The 'Rewards' do not justify the grind.

Anything below M3 is a massive waste of time if one has to grind it out. The rewards are preposterous for anyone outside those top 1000 players. It's a garbage mode made for streamers to farm rage inducing contnet.

BGs needs a complete makeover atp.

You say you have just 20 R4s, no R5s and you suck at the game. Yet you win 70% of the matches and reach GC within 4 to 5 days. Something doesn't add up here.

1)Either you are a very skilled player that reach GC inspite of having a not so great roster, or 2) You grind your way to GC with a great roster and average skills, or 3) You didn't reach GC at all with your current roster and limited skills etc, or 4) any other outcome based on a combination of these factors.

Cap! Must of had the best luck going into matches when nobody was really playing. Meta is luck! Get lucky and matched against someone similar in strength or get lucky in the draw. BGs sucks! Thats the complaint. Took

not really. Adjust to the meta. I used r4 spark, r4 torch and r3 dpx as much as I can because they are the fastest killers. Ban strategically. Pick unorthodox defenders. Let them hit you to reach sp2 faster. Put on suicides (probably 10-15% of people I played against had them). The fact that you guys can't imagine how a player who sucks with no r5s can do it proves the original point of my post. You didn't adjust to the meta

Your reply proves my point. You adjusted to the meta, strategized bans, picked your drafts and made good use of your roster tells that you do not suck.

It's so cute of you to assume that I didnt adjust to this meta. I already reached GC this season as I did in the previous seasons. Played just a couple of fights, reached Gamma 2 and called it curtains.

People just tag along the trash meta argument to excuse adding their own complaints. Most people who played BGs every season found this current season boring or unenjoyable, somehow they translated it to hard and difficult.

Also started calling whales to anyone with a bigger roster and conveniently use the number 4+ 7r5s to tell their story. 3 7r5s would be too low for their whining to have any meaning cause that's just an Elder...
