So why does every season have to have attack reduction nodes? Can’t we get something original or even something that hasn’t been done in a while. This is the perfect way to make people not want to play it pretty much the same node over and over do something creative please next season

Skil issue you can fix by watching several YT videos and see how to dex a lot, parry and all stuff to play better.

Dont blame on a perfect mode as Battlegrounds.

He's actually right , this season is totally fine , just don't repeat the same basic attack twice and you never getting damage reduction and you can use the weakness to heal if you need , normal and super easy meta , BG players quality fell off so much some since last year, because of easy access to champs and rank up materials, and the skills was not in the package, and they can't even see that they are the problem , so we got this type of people blaming kabam and just hating on bgs in general , they can't use units or revives to win in bgs and that forces them to use skills that they don't have , which then leads to frustration and that leads to forum posts crying about a super ez game mode being "bad" lol .

To the OP's point, the Defenders are OP enough, then you add the difference in Ranks, and the increase from the Global Node, and Attack-reducing Nodes are an added level of frustration. For a 2-minute Fight.

I'm just glad we're not stuck chasing a Stellar Forge piece in BattleGrounds again. I feel like I can wade in here and there and hope for some viable matchups without getting too stressed out.

It was a huge sigh of relief during the recent livestream when it was announced that Kabam was listening to player feedback last season and was acting on it.

It would be great to have some season or at least 2 weeks of almost no nodes. There were metas in the past where nodes actually did not matter much.

Now we are too controlled to how decks are combined. I think many players will like free meta to heavy-load their deck with whoever powerful they have.

Metas don't matter though if people understand that meta is same for your opponent too.

People not playing in Gc is my issues atm. Hitting 200 won't happen unless the 0 point noobs play more matches and inflate the scores.

BGs are kinda dead. Time is biggest issue. The essensia objective is trash. The radiance is also trash. Rewards suck hard with hard r.

People stuck in vt is not a flaw, its by desing.

BG mode "healthy/balance" eco have beeb destroyed, due to Kabam years over monetisation and toxic Def, the gap between Top end spender to everyone is massive, and while Kabam messing about various "so far ridiculously stupid ideas", participation continue to drop off every season.

This broken eco will only be worst as time go on, with the exclusive new champions 7*Ascension and collective. There are no meta nodes that will make BG better, the BG designers are powerless.

This season meta, is a perfect example, it is more skill dependant, however skill will only get players so far, if you are facing a A2R5 7* Def, you will still be out time if you got a weaker Def.

BG mode is in vicious cycle, it is no longer fun and time invest is not equal to rewards, so participation reduce, which make is even less enjoy and cost more to get nothing, and so the cycle continue.

Kabam can continue messing about with nodes and dex size, ect. But the easiest and simplest way to help the mode is by restructure the pointing system and how players progress.

VT - 1 Token per win fight (not match),

Eg, 2 - 0, Winner get 2 tokens

2 - 1, Winner get 2 tokens, Loser get 1 token.

By doing this, it give players hope, even when face an account much bigger, because they can still potentially make progress, by focus on winning even just 1 fight, encourage skills and strategy.

Same can be applied to GC, 5 points (average) per fight.

With no deduction of token, players know that they will make progress if they put in the time.

Then Kabam can put whatever chase item behind VT.

This won't "fix" BG, but sure will help improving it.

Until then, it is actually best to take BG as a casual mode, jump in once in awhile if you got free time, mess about with a few matches, win or lose and move on. It jist not worth the "stress"

So people just want an arena on steroids basically? Like others have said the other person is playing the same nodes, if you are losing right now making the nodes easier would probably make you lose in a worse way.

No more damage restriction metas, what do you want a power gain meta? A regen meta? It really doesn't matter when the opponent plays the same meta and does it better.

What is the problem with the current nodes though? There is no bs protection, and the main challenge is the weakness which needs to be played around like mix master.

OMG... 2 mins trying figured out how to make AI throw sp1&2 so it doesn't tourch sp3 in a power gain meta (let me help make it worst as u read that, power gain is a passive not a buff).

Season s difficulty is fine, nodes gameplay is boring af. Not enjoyable at all, that s not how a game is supposed to be. Just saying.
