Permanent account ban

Hey guys

Really bizarre i have been playing mcoc to about a week now and today i logged into the kabam webstore and got a few free crystals and then logged back into mcoc and boom permanent account ban due to using third party app?! No idea why this has happened and before you ask not cheated didnt know you could cheat in the game. Anyways i have emailed kabam support and logged a request for my account to be released. Anyone know why this has happened and Anyone else had this issue at all and does anyone know how long kabam takes to respond.

If you had actually looked and read the ban posts, they're hilarious. I can link you to some of the more infamous ones if you'd like, since it goes along withyour name. And only two (maybe three) have been overturned due to a false positive, not counting the ban wave when they tested out new tech.

But please keep saying you didn't cheat. It entertains the forums for the weekend.

My money is on this being one of many accounts OP has had. Something about logging into the webstore triggered an email or IP match and Kabam was able to tell it’s a new account from a banned player.

A very likely scenario. But cheaters think they can get away with things by playing dumb, and that's probably because they only know how to be dumb

I am not defending OP in any way here, but this sounds unlikely.

If OP had another account that he cheated on and got banned, Kabam would not ban his new account he made, UNLESS he also used cheats on the new account as well.

Kabam does not ban peoples new accounts they make after being banned on their other account, even if they somehow matched an IP when accessing the webstore on a fresh new account.

Its not like when you get perma banned on one account, kabam will keep going after and perma banning other accounts you make for no reason. I know this because my friend went through the exact same situation.

That's not always true. If someone keeps creating new accounts just to cheat, Kabam will start to just ban any accounts they make. It's a case by case issue, but it's not unheard of.

I actually didn't think of it like that. That's definelty possible. If OP cheated, got perma ban, and opened a new account once or twice in a row, nothing would happen. But if they kept doing it 5 - 8 times that would probably get them on some kind of list to get Perma Ban over and over each account they make.

This account must have been the first of that possibility.

It is also possible that they were a merc and Kabam has been pretty hard on them lately. Cheating is one thing, cheating for others is another level.

he did say his family member who referred him to the game has progressed so i’m sure family member told him to go to the store and claim stuff people at my work play this game but not on the level i do sand they have been playing as long or longer than i have and they still come to me with questions about it so im sure his family member told him about it

Looking at his profile in game he is currently online. so either he is telling the truth and he did get it back or he was never banned in the first place and he just pulled a random picture of a ban screen from somewhere.
