Maybe they could add a 7* shards one, starting with 100+ and slowly increasing with each milestone?

Wouldn’t make much of a difference for end players (still better something than nothing, or what we have), and beginners will have another way to slowly farm them for an extra 7* champ every few weeks?

In the end it won’t make too much dent on the economy and will be a small refreshing change to the years of stale (and, let’s be honest, useless) Sunday arena.

Actually, it is the players that don't want Kabam to touch Arena.

As Kabam have openly stated that if Kabam were to look into Arena and make changes, it would be a detrimental to the players.

I would imagine Kabam would very much want to re-tune Arena to the new power level (of 7*+), so players would have to spend a lot more time for the same amount of units, like it was back when it was 5 and 6*.

Main Arena is already run 6 days out of 7, sure you can find something else to do on the Sunday.

We already have Super DSE with normal DSE on Sundays.

No other Game company is so nice as Kabam to give rewards to its players.

And Sunday Arenas exist for a long time and will be the same for more 20 years.

If and when that Pandora's box is opened, retuning arena to 7* and ascended champion strength would be the absolute best possibility the players could hope for.

It is also the most astronomically unlikely.

The most likely scenario would be an economy designer asking "why are we giving players like DNA3000 over $3000 worth of premium currency every year? Sonofab- is that what the 3000 stands for?"

And most of the player base is unlikely to appreciate what the answer to that question ends up being.

People keep saying "I understand why the arenas aren't being updated, but" and then sticking in their suggestions for updating the arena. Most people don't in fact understand why arenas aren't being updated, including the OP. The arenas are not being updated right now for one simple reason: Kabam has CHOSEN not to look at them too carefully.

There's a basilisk roaming the halls of Kabam HQ. It looks for horribly broken things and when its gaze fixes on one of them it gets turned to stone, and then smashed into rubble to help pave Vancouver streets. The arena is a horribly broken thing that universally favors the players in ludicrous ways. Its rewards are ridiculously high. It has almost uncapped grinding potential. Its difficulty scaler is so broken people think arena was intended to be played while watching TV. The basilisk doesn't want to fix the arena. The basilisk wants to turn it to stone. If it ever fixes its gaze upon it, the arena isn't going to be tweaked. It is going to just be gone, at least in any recognizable form. And they are not just going to take three thousand dollars of premium currency and sprinkle them for free throughout the game for everyone to collect either.

The OP, and players like the OP, are actually leading the basilisk to the arenas and asking it pretty please to close its eyes until it gets to the Sunday arena, and then only look at that, and then close its eyes again while it is carefully led away. All it takes is for the basilisk to take a peak one day.

Just one.

they have already tweaked arena before, when game was at its possible peak with 6* coming into the game. Now we are at 7* And Ascension point in the game, so logically it would make sense to have it up for at least a little review (no Medusa or any other mythical type thing 😂)

And I also get the: “if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it” type of approach, but as irl have shown us this is in no way, shape or form a “resolution” to anything.
