Became Elder, Valiant track reset and wiped my Archangel progress. Need this fixed.

I spent real money on a couple of pricey bundles and upgraded a champ to R5, which pushed me to Elder. As soon as that happened, my Valiant store track flipped to the Elder version and reset my progress.

I was 100 points away from Archangel. Now I am 320 points away. That is progress I earned, gone overnight.

What bothers me most is that there was no choice. No prompt, no opt out, no warning that ranking up would reset my store track. I would never have opted into this if I had been asked.

To be clear, I do not want the new Elder rewards. I just want my progress back so I can get the Archangel I was about to unlock.

Please restore my points. Let me know what account info you need and I will send it over.

It’s very bothersome because that happened to me too and I don’t know what to do but to sit hopelessly. You stated the issue perfectly and I hope Kabam notices in time.

You should both summit support tickets. They might not help, but it’s better than doing nothing. Sorry, that sucks.

Same thing, also have no interest on having the extra rewards or something like that, but having the milestone count where's it was supposed to be would be helpful for getting that AA, instead of having to pay way more again. Feels like getting punished for buying the offers :c

the same thing happened to me over night. I was going for the 4-5 gem and was halfway there. Put in a ticket for it and I get a default response and the ticket gets closed immediately. I really wanted to get that 4-5 gem

I have the same issue too. You might all also want to check your tower keys, I received 8 class keys in the compensation message on the 25th, did t use any and they have all now disappeared!

@DarthPearce Those compensation keys go to your inventory under ”other“ I believe. You need to click on them and select “use.”

@ColonelKilgore thanks buddy, the counter at the top of the screen which shows your resource amounts was saying zero and it was the same when I went into towers so I just assumed I had none!

same thing with me, was 18 points away from AA after purchasing 3 Odin packs. Got elder and now I’m back to zero…. I work in IT and I have never seen such a buggy product. I can understand some bugs but do you guys even do regression testing? It’s every single update!

I sent in a ticket, hope they do something about it.

Just got a response to my ticket saying that Kabam Support is not able to adjust Milestone Track to the previous step achieved. So I guess no AA

I have seen users receiving responses from Kabam on this issue. You said this feature is behaving as designed and that points cannot be restored. I feel this is unfair, and I want to explain why, as a paying player and as someone who works in UX design.

The reason given is that the reset lets Summoners access higher value rewards first. In my case it did the exact opposite. For me, at 320$, Archangel is the top reward on this track. I was 100 points away from it. After ranking up and getting Elder, my track flipped and I am now 320 points away. The reset did not move me toward the highest reward. It pushed me further from it. So the stated purpose does not match what actually happened.

Here is the part that feels wrong. The same Archangel I could have completed for roughly $320 now costs me around $520. The reward did not change. The price changed only because I ranked up. I was paying for Archangel, and the cost moved on me mid way. There was no prompt, no opt out, and no warning that ranking up would reset my track. If I had known, I might not have even spent the last $100.

This is also worth thinking about as a design problem. The track was sold alongside items that naturally push a player toward Progression. When you sell the very thing that triggers the reset, you have to plan for what happens when a player acts on it. That step seems to have been missed. And the handling is inconsistent across the game. The double track event did not upgrade or reset, and the Elder bundles are locked while the Valiant ones stay open. So this case was clearly accounted for in some places and not in others. That is why I read this as an oversight, not the intent.

The scale matters too. In this thread alone I count more than 10 people hitting the same issue. I was about to buy another $100 Odin, and now I will not. For context, the $200 I have already spent is about 20,000 rupees. The $520 the current design asks for is about 52,000 rupees, which is close to a month of average income here. So this is not throwaway spending. Across this thread you have likely lost real money in purchases people were ready to make, before counting the hundreds of others affected.

I am not asking for compensation or for the Elder rewards that were already unlocked. I never wanted those. I am asking to pay the same $320 everyone else pays for Archangel, not the $520 my account now shows.

There are simple ways to fix this. Restore the Valiant track for those of us who were on it. Or carry our same progress onto the Elder path, even if you do not give us the Elder milestone rewards. Either one puts us back to paying what everyone else pays.

I am trusting that this is an honest oversight and not the intent. Please do not punish progress. That is the part of the game we are all here for.

Their response is, quite frankly, BS.

That it is an "intended effect" is a really really gross way of screwing everybody over.

When they have Web Store tracks that have the SAME chase rewards - an Ascended HAM at 13k and a 7* Archangel at 20k, regardless of whether you're Paragon or Valiant or Elder, they shouldn't reset the webstore track.

The fact that they consider it not a bug, but a feature, is even to make me cuss into the infinite void.

They should have had enough foresight to not have this happen with advancing titles because that's always going to be a thing that happens during major deals and offers.

This is quite frankly, nothing but an extremely scummy practice, especially since it is affecting players that spent real $$

@djroy1990 aye me and a few buddies were looking back at past events. Where we would rank up mid event our web stores wouldn’t reset to the next progression level that we were stuck on for the event. So why is this event any different.

yep, support got back to me and basically said too bad, that’s the way it supposed to work. So spent 300usd to get 18 points away from AA, could have gotten those 18 points free. But now I need to spend another 300 to get back to where I was because I got elder. I feel like they stole from me. They could care less about people they screw. Really ruining this game with their greed. I won’t spend another dime on this game, cancelling my sigil too….
