I am 99 percent sure that very few to no one will see this but I am going to write this anyway. I have been playing this game for literally 10 years. It has been my escape from the harshness of the real world at times. Maybe sounds silly to say but this game has actually gotten me through some very difficult times. The challenge of grinding for new champs and strategizing for end game content used to be fun. So much so that I decided to support this game by paying real money for it. A lot of it. I support things I believe in to be good. Somewhere along the way this game become one paywall after another. And I still paid because it was still fun. Eventually what I perceive as greed on Kabams part made this game less fun and I thought about not buying things more often than not. This event sealed it for me. And it wasn’t the bug tbh it was the responses from the moderators. When asked questions about compensation, we were met with vague answers and downright condescension. It’s not right. This is supposed to be fun but instead it has turned into something else entirely. I won’t be spending another dime after this event. This has been a rant that’ll probably fade into obscurity, which is an indication of how this community is treated as well.

i just recently came back to the game and responses like this for kabam reminds me of why i quited in the first place, they just treat their playerbase with so much disrespect

FR tho…..”we screwed up but it’s your fault and you’re never happy”……why do you think that is, kabam ? Is it the the lack of true bug fixes? Is it the unearned moral superiority with which you make your comments towards all of us? I understand that I’m just a spoke in this giant wheel but Kabam could have a much better game on their hands but they opt for the quick buck nowadays instead. I’m FTP going forward. It’s weird that more people don’t do this. It placates and perpetuates their well earned mediocrity when they keep forking their hard earned money over and keep wanting to get abused. Agreed here. I cancelled my Sigil Subscription already. Paid $400 in the webstore to get the units for the tiers (also got AA there) but was waiting to buy the tiers for a few days then I saw this mess. I had bought 1 tier at that point for 1000 units and then stopped immediately after seeing others got that for 52 units.

Even though I did not spend all those units on these deals, I did spend hard earned money to get those units and wish I hadn't when so many people did not have to. Having AA only and none of the deals the others got was not worth it, especially after we found out they nerfed AA a bit too. Plus I would not be eligible for any compensation because I did not spend those paid for units on enough tiers. They should have had some sort of compensation for spending cash too.

Seen people going in and requesting refunds from the webstore purchases has really got me thinking about doing the same thing.

The false claims of “comparable value”

The miserly way comp is withheld and defended when it’s clearly their fault.

It gets to the point that even “you have a right to be mad…” is grating. Why are we having that conversation in the first place? Like Richtheman advised, why isn’t Kabam on here laying out options of a fix - good options- and getting the community on board? Why is it by default adversarial? “You have a right to be mad…” tells my trained ears that I am in the end just going to be expected to take it and deal with it.

Tired of dealing with platitudes and feelings…. Y’all screw up, you should make it as right as you can. There should be 75% of the community on board with the comp (you will never please everyone). You have 10-15% approval on this tops from people who spent units. Kabam has simply decided to satisfy their own interests first and foremost. Not supporting that with my $$ anymore. That attitude isn’t worth subsidizing anywhere

I get emotional and vocal and it comes off in a way that Im sure is not communicating what my heart is trying to say. And, I feel like your post says what I want to say.

You know, I have a good life and a safe one. But, like everyone here, it's had its moments. And the game was always a great little break. Big ups and big downs, long nights or just waiting for an appointment. Its always been a little escape, like when I was younger and would jump into my comic books.

Oh well, they dont care about us and when it starts to cause anxiety instead of being a little escape then I guess it's time to move on.
