This is nowhere near comparable value. I don't want your random crystals. I either want to be able to purchase the same bundles at the same price as those you took advantage of the exploit or I want my 25k+ units back that I spent over those individuals. If not, I will contact my credit card company and have the thousands of dollars I've spent on this game over the years refunded and walk away. This is absolutely absurd.

TBH this compensation is stupid, like some players got r3 materials (for multiple champs) costing them nothing while we who spent actual units are just gonna get 6*s or 7*s which for valiant and elder players are next to nothing. something like this happened during last year's banquet event as well, where some players got twice the rewards from the realm event track as unclaimed rewards

I don’t understand the compensation logic at all, but I’m glad Kabam accepts something is needed. It wasn’t released as planned so I expect they’re revising it anyway.

I’m a spender. I don’t grind units, I don’t really even have time to play much anymore, and I’m certainly not FTP. I dropped $1000 for Human Torch’s initial release, and $500 on this 4th July sale (I’d dropped $800 recently during the ascended deals). So that’s the lens I have.

It completely undermines at least $1500 of my actual cash to see people get AA and HT for 1000 units, among other things. The fact Kabam don’t think this is significant enough to warrant a reversal on those accounts really tells me a lot. I understand the game economy and how quickly items lose value, but seeing Kabam reduce the value of AA so significantly in the first week by not opting to remove him from the affected accounts really bothers me. It undermines the reason why I spend, which is predominantly to have exclusive champs on my BGs roster.

A hard wake-up call to see the developers devaluing so blatantly what they expect me to value enough to drop hundreds of dollars on. Makes me feel like an idiot, a cash cow to be milked and not respected as a customer.

The biggest issue is we spent huge amounts of time and money to get an exclusive champ that wasn’t actually exclusive. I feel sorry for Kabam on this as it’s a huge mistake, but we are where we are.

We have still spent huge amounts of time and money and NOT now got an exclusive champ. We deserve one. I suggest:

Add a new tracker that is only applicable to those who didn’t get the bugged deals but is open to all now. This should have a 7* Doctor Doom or similar at 20k units. Copy the legit score of the existing tracker from accounts that wasn’t affected.
For any account that received AA as an in-game item at the $400 webstore milestone, send a 7* Doctor Doom in game.
Provide a handful of catalysts as additional compensation.
Gift everyone at paragon or above a 7* AA. Maybe even conquerer so those who didn’t get the exploit aren’t totally left out. Make that AA effectively a celebration giveaway champ kinda like Spider Ham was supposed to be.

That’s the only way I see people still getting what they deserved without an impossible resolution from kabam clawing back rewards 5 days later.

You have a crisis and you can't rewards with what could be found in a random endgame quest ?

The comp should be such that next time similar happen, the community instead of being upset , think " cool, we will have some free bonus stuff".

It's absurd - a bunch of 90% 6* crystals and maybe a handful of ascended 7* champs you have already as an Edler for basically overspending by 19,000+ units in comparison to lower-tiered accounts is not proper compensation. I had seven 7r5 before this event and all that compensation will give me is more expriring ISO I cant use.

It should have 7R4→5 ranks-up mats or a gem, a 7* class abyss selector, 100+ sig stones and at least 5000 units (25% money back) at a minimum for those who spent 20,000+ units.

And the compensation is some BS RNG based ascension thing.

Make things worse their response this time is "Oops sorry, we won't even say we will do better because we know we can't"….

This is Kabam breaking my leg in a race and applying band aid on the wrong leg to fix it. I am an FTP elder. I don't think this compensation approach is valuing player base's skill.

I have nothing against whales or whales getting more in-game stuff. I can still compete with whales in Battleground GC. But that's not what we are dealing with here. What's fair is reverting the progression for the accounts that bought stuff when the store was bugged. Or award all player base an opportunity to buy offers at the same rate. Does it rush the roaster progression beyond Kabam's expectation -YES. But it is on Kabam.

People focus on AA and the 19k units different.

But here are some extra details. I'm a peasant, so didn't have many of these previous exclusive champs, including Tigra, Future Antman, Red Guardian and even She Hulk.

So I brought Bundle 3 another 3 times to get those missing champs (would have brought the 4th time for She Hulk, but I'm broke.

My cost - 3 x Bundle 3 = 12,000 units.

The Discount Bundle cost = 188 x 3= 564

That is an extra 11,436 unit different.

If we were to compare someone that cleared out Bundle 3 x 4 that different would be = 15,248 unit just on Bundle 3.

So the different between Elder players and those Valiant and Paragon players that got the discounted deal will be way more than the 19k units players are talking about, just like @BringPopcorn said. It is sure enough cover a large part of the next big Sale event.

So not sure how that is not a competitive issue.

Archangel and rank up materials aside, this all comes down to units, and really, it all comes down to Banquet and the 63 more SBC that anyone who was able to take advantage of this bug will be able to buy over anyone who wasn’t. If competitive balance isn’t being shifted now, it certainly will be then. Personally, I don’t care if several thousand, if not more, people were able to game the system to get an exclusive champ and possibly move up a progression level or two. I do care that in addition to that, they’re being given an additional leg up in all future content or sales because of an institutional level screw up on the part of Kabam. Either give us back the units to level the playing field, or give us vouchers for future sales. I’d happily take those 63 SBC in 6 months instead of the units now.

Also is not the guilty of players use the offers with less units, the guilty is yours, kabam, for to put that offers with less cost in theyr account. Il was pity because could be a good summer sale offers, a good numeber of r5, arcangel 7s and less milestone 25k, and you just make bad all with this mistake. Also put arcangel in a 1k dollars offers and nerfing him without tell us nothing. But we are not responsable of your mistake and we spending money and times for units, we want back our units, all units use in this offers, be seriously and correct with who permite your game to be one of the best in the mobile form, and respect us
