Guillotine not getting phantasm

Was playing rol wolverine but my guillotine didn’t get phantasm when he regen (or degen since I used sp2)
What’s happening?

She only generates them when you deal enough damage. That is why you have to be quick since you start out with 4 and it is impossible to get more without dropping a s2 early in the match.

Using a boost is extremely helpful with guilly and keeping her souls up.
If you don't get to your first L2 pretty quickly you will lose all your souls and will be next to impossible to get anymore back.

Mystic dispersion helps too.

You have to have at least 2 souls when you use your SP2 to enable the heal reversal. Because you only earn one soul per 6% damage caused and they expire after 10 seconds, you have to build up to her SP2 very quickly to utilize the 4 you start the fight with.
