AI attacking mid combo

I've had a few instances in the monthly quest where the AI starts attacking me while I'm hitting them during a combo. It's happened a few time when they were blocking and all of a sudden decided the stop blocking and interrupt my combo (and the champs I were facing didn't have autoblock or Evade), or I'm building up a 5 hit combo and they just shrug it off and start attacking.
Happened against Cap Marvel, Sentinel Mystic, Venom, and Kamala Kahn.

Yeah, they are Parry mid combo, then smack you up... I guess Medusa has been giving lessons??

Even my special attacks are being interrupted because the AI has been sped up again with no thought of how this affects the main elements of the game.

I thought I was the only one who having a problem with their special attack being interrupted
