Help build team for ACT 4/5 and Labyrinth

Hello all, greetings from Japan.

Started playing MCOC late last year at the urging of my 4 year old son who loves marvel heroes.

Began playing more regularly in late January when I realized my son had chosen perhaps the greatest game on earth. I've been trying to complete and explore as much of the Story Quests as possible as well as do EQ and Arena when I can. (still have not joined an alliance due to lack of time/inability to commit time - though I think I need to in order to really progress)

My crystal luck has been so-so though I consider myself unlucky on my 3 x 5 star openings which resulted in Hulkbuster, Gambit and Capt Marvel (she's okay I know).

So I'm focusing on building up my 4 stars to take me through Act 4 completion as well as far as I can go in Labyrinth.

I obviously can't level up all the 4 stars (nor are they all worth doing so) so I need advice on which 4 stars to focus my resources on.

I've got my mind set on Blade, Stark Spidey, and Hyperion but am unsure on how to round out my team (perhaps BW and 3 or 4 others to focus on leveling up).

Advice is much appreciated in creating a balanced powerful team. Thanks!

The 3 you suggest are the best to rank an are great champs, start with blade then sparky if you can. Ultron will definitely help out too with his duel immunity an regen. You definitely will not be able to do LOL with them but you could start doing the road to LOL if you've not done that yet? LOL will be a long ways off an you will need r4 5* champs for it. This game takes a long time to start doing endgame content of this is your first account

Thanks for the advice. Yup my first account. Good 5 stars take while to collect (and lots of luck) so a hopefully a strong 4 star team can get me started on LOL at least (I still have to hit level 40) and help me reach Uncollected.

Ultron is a great choice.

One of the things that held me back was being heavy on Cosmic champs and not enough Cosmic Catalysts to go around so I oner if Hela and Angela as well as Drax are worth leveling up as well.

You should aim to get at least one good champion of each class; plus a few champions with specific abilities such as Power Control, buff removal, and immunities/debuff resistance.

There are a lot of nasty debuffs up ahead in acts 4-5. You might want to give consideration to a 'shrug off' champion like Kingpin; plus Ultron as advised.

You could do with a good Power Control champion, so if you pull Vision, make sure you'll use him. He'll take you way further than Ultron will. At the moment the only champ you have with any power control is SE Spidey.

Angela will end up a better cosmic champ than either Black Bolt or Gamora; although obviously, prioritise Hyperion. As you've got more resources invested in Drax, you could just keep going with him, though.

As a mutant option, Five star Gambit is probably a better long-term option than Four star cable although Cable has more utility (and I'm sure many would disagree with me!). On other hand, that's purely based on their star rating: I'd rank 4-star Cable above 4-star Gambit.

Str

I would prioritise blade for regen and stark spidey for damage and Ultron for immunities/regen (and alliance quest.) Angela would also be good as her regen counters block damage. Bw at high sig can help with some nodes and champs. Hyperion has great damage to for damage with bit of regen.

You ideally want a power control champion too and i would prioritise one of those when you pick up a magik/vision etc.

Thanks guys! I would love to get a Vision or Magik but only have them 2 stars now. I got Angela from the Women's day even (twice too!) which is why I have not leveled her up yet.

The 5 star Gambit came after I already began leveling up the 4 star Gambit... we all know MCOC has the best of timing lol.
