Too much evade? Quick Recovery!!

Is it possible for NightCrawler to evade Archangel's heavy attack in the middle of it?

I hit the NC with first 2 strikes and he evaded the last 2 (I think AA's heavy has 4 hits I think). Is this down to how fast the AI is recovering?
Is this a bug?

Not just Nightcrawler, spiderman also evading in middle heavy attack with hyperion aswell

I also notice my champs can attack mid heavy. But on a cheap shot kinda chance. This should be removed becaue this gives unfair advantage.

Remember when champs can interrupt specials and kabam removed it?
