Thoughts on Sentinels replacing Symbioids In AQ

Looks like AQ is about to get harder. Man! Bleed and poison immune? that will suck. Also IDK abou u guys but I really HATE sentinel. I find him somewhat distracting when your fighting him. Im used to seeing my champs at regular size, but then u see you hulk become a size of a penny. Well what are you thought on this?

Most of the good heroes are bleeding,poisoning the opponents,or both of them.this change is very bad,when we spend already too many potions on the aq,because of the challenger rating,high prestige,but mostly because of the ridicolous ai speed and cheats.we have ranked up our blades,gwenpools,wolverines,doctor voodoos and archangels.if the the game is rewarding enough and gives enough recources,to rank up other heroes,i wouldn’t mind the changes.but the game is not rewarding enough and just a big mess.

Making all of our bleed or poison champs obsolete or at least severely weakened is a terrible idea. It’s another bad design decision to add to the list. What are they thinking? I don’t get it at all.

I hated fighting sents in the event quest. So annoying. They constantly dodged back, avoiding all damage, after my attack's animation already hit em...Never understood what was going on then and I'll probably continue to not understand in AQs

My Medusa made fighting them cake tho, so I don't really see it getting harder.

If Kabam continues to add content that the players don’t like or want they will have to add more difficult champs to aq to make up for the lost revenue of us leaving the game. Loyal players keep playing and keep getting screwed every time Kabam wants to “improve the game”. Perhaps they could add some content that would suit the garbage champs we all get stuck with. I’m waiting for a post that says “Fortunately, my Ms Marvel duped 5* makes it easy”. It would be nice if you didn’t need a top20 god champ to clear content. I think major changes that Kabam makes to content should come with some options for us, customers to change with it. I have two bleed dependent 5*s 4/55s that will be useless.

Champions I recently ranked up for AQ are now going to be useless for it and a waste of Gems and Stones, i hope Kabam are going to give us some tickets to compensate for making my AQ specific champs now redundant

Use them in Aw and quest. Kabam don’t owe you any tickets for changing the content that changes all the time. If I ranked up my drax when Kang was boss and then dormamu came along as boss I don’t cry and demand a rank down ticket I say, “well I can use my drax elsewhere and I’ll bring a new champion to fight dormamu”.

Kabam is only doing this to force people to buy Medusa GMCs. Kabam does not care about its customer base. They will take every opportunity to make money even if it is ammoral.

Not sure if it’s the path I normally take on map 3, but I fight several immune biods, so that won’t be a problem. The problem will be the weird “can’t stun them after a while” problem, or how the damage starts off high then as the fight goes in, it reduces because ...they’re smart?

Main reasons sentinels are better:
1. They all have the same special moves.

Once you've learned the dexterity timing for them then you should be good. No more fighting one mystic symbiod who pops off Dr. Strange and Scarlett which specials only to fight the next one and, WTF where did the Black bolt special 1 come from??? He's not even mystic and ugh holy **** cap. Marvels special 2? Are we sure this is a mystic symbiod?

2. Their abilities are always the same and never change.

You can figure out what each does and then fly right through them. Easy to look up online study and get used to.

3. They are huge.

Doesn't seem like a big deal but it is. Symbiods seem to move soo fast because when they dash forward they crouch low to the ground thereby decreasing their profile and causing the eye to loose track of them for a split second. However, sentinels when they dash forward raise their arms for a swing down attack which raises their profile and is easier for the eye to catch making it easier to intercept, part or block...

Downsides:

1. Poison and bleed immune.

No explanation needed there.

2. That skill is a ****.

The skill sentinels ability to shrug off debuffs almost instantaneously means you're basically fighting a debuff immune sentinel.

3. Time to adjust.

It's going to take time to get used to evading their specials which will be a must because after it gets 20 charges on their adaption mechanism their abilities activate through blocks which means incineration damage and when it hits 40 the specials are unblockable. Fun fun.

AQ is already boring at least Symboids had different moves. Now we will have sentinels who are basically identical which means more repitition and boredom. I don’t see why they can’t just let the enemies be random around the map. Would spice it up a bit.

I just don’t understand the logic behind substituting sentinels for symboids against the idea of wanting to see increased diversity in the game on the part of the developer. In AW specifically, the mode was designed to make us fight a battlefield of diverse champs, but now with a whole bunch of sentinels in AQ diversity becomes very minimalistic. Should not every game mode focus on an array of diverse champs?
